NBA 2014-2015

Shame for the guy, had a chance to expand his game this season with Stephenson gone.

Hope it's not a repeat of the Granger situation. Finally got out from under his contract.

Absolutely gutted. Not a Pacers fan but a basketball & PG fan. Career ender, IMO. Hope I'm wrong, of course. Even if he does return there's no way he'll ever be the same player.

I've always felt that the safety of the players in basketball isn't good enough. Courtside fans, cameramen, the base of the basket, there's not enough space for these athletes IMO.

Shit shit shit I wish I didnt see that! Absolutely horrific I hope he recovers soon.

Horrible. Just horrible. He must be devastated now.

What a loss for the Pacers and for the NBA as well.

Get well soon, PG (although I don't think he'll ever be the same PG we know again).

So the Kevin Love trade to the Cavs is almost officially done. Another big 3 for Lebron. They still have defensive issues but I guess they're gonna be the new bandwagoning team.

Not really. Love is better than both Bennet and Wiggins combined. Plus Wolves will have to rebuild all over again.

It was a rubbish deal considering Golden State were offering Clay Thompson, David Lee and Harrison Barnes. They need Andrew Wiggins to become a real star for it to be worth it and that's very questionable if he will be.

Klay Thompson is really the only get there. Lee would just be going to even the salaries and Barnes was immensely disappointing last year.

D-Rose has been very good in his comeback. The explosive runs are still there, which was the biggest concern after his 2 surgeries. Im really excited for him and can't wait to see what he and the Bulls are going to do this upcoming season.

Am in LA in April 2015. Anyone know how best to get tickets for a game (Apr 05 Lakers vs Clippers)?

1) Minnesota got a good deal
2) Lebron is coming back home
3) He wrote a respectful letter
4) They haven't said "not one, not two, not three"

It's kind of hard to figure out how you guys don't get this
Except none of those points were the main arguments presented at the time to criticize the formation of a big 3.

And for the first point, are you sure you're not missing a team here?

The points to criticize were 1) the arrogance 2) the way he flaunted it in Cleveland's face and 3) the trend towards super teams it could start.

1) They didn't say "not one, not two, not three"
2) He wrote a respectful letter
3) They are just replacing another super team

As for missing a team, the difference is that Toronto and Cleveland drafted and developed a superstar, just like Minnesota did. Miami signed a ready made superstar. It is obvious why people feel for the fans who watched a player from their rookie year to leaving more than they do for Miami's bandwagon fans who got the prime years

Is the World Cup not being broadcast in the UK?

USA just beat Finland 114-55. Crazy. Everyone knows it would be one sided but more than double the number of points is amazing.

The gap is large between the US and the rest of the world. Only Spain are capable of beating them atm due to it being on their turf. Argentina are not as good as they used to be, and Brazil and Australia are second tier.
