Jazz lose. Lakers have made the playoffs!!

Now if we win, we can avoid OKC...

Here come the bandwagoners....

Though i'd still love if Lakers randomly won it all just to piss off the anti-bandwagoners(like moi) even more.

I still doubt we can beat the Spurs. I know of late their playoff performances havent been great but us missing Kobe is going to be the X-factor. Them having more home games wont account for shit if we had Kobe since Ginobilli is still struggling with injuries and Parker aint 100% since he was out for a month with the ankle sprain.

Curry has some range, broke the record for the most 3 pointers scored in a season and his 3 point % is better than his field goal %.

Great job by the Lakers, I think they are a serious threat to the Spurs now.. However, I'm still not convinced it's "Dwight's team" now.. Looks more like a "Pau's team" to me..

And by the way, talking about predictions, these were my predictions about the Lakers earlier this season (when they were trying to catch Houston for the 8th spot)...

My prediction: They will finish 7th.

And by the way, I think the race in the end will be between the Lakers and the Jazz for the final playoff spot.

So, what do you think about those predictions Eboue? :p

Faried and Lawson are bruised, Galinari is out and Steph Curry is awesome. I think it will be the closest first round series and the most fun to watch.

Definitely will be the best to watch. Although, having said that, watching the Lakers get destroyed is always fun :D

My money's on Chicago & Brooklyn being the closest series. That or Boston and NY.

MIAMI—Heading into the team’s first-round matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, sources confirmed Friday that Miami Heat point guard Mario Chalmers has somehow fallen under the impression that his teammates really need him to step it up during the playoffs. “They can’t do it without me, so I definitely have to bring my A-game,” said Chalmers, adding that head coach Erik Spoelstra is counting on him to be at his absolute best on defense and maintain flawless perimeter shooting amid the team’s bid for a second consecutive NBA title. “This is the playoffs, so I can’t afford to have an off game. Everyone’s depending on me out there, and if I don’t make my presence felt, we could be headed home early.” Chalmers also confirmed that he will need to be a vocal leader on the floor in order to set an example for Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen, and LeBron James.

...

Knicks,Nets and Denver take game 1 at home. Clips vs Grizz just started. Think it'll be a home sweep today.

I'm disappointed in the Grizzlies' effort last night. They have to win the second game at the Staples Center, in order to have any chance of progressing.

All we need in the East is a shock sweep of the Heat by the Bucks

Kobe tweeting during the game was fun.

Too many turnovers and missed shots negated a decent defensive effort.

Doubt any of us think we can win a title with this team sans Kobe. Would be nice to beat the spurs though. I still think we will win game 2 and take home court away from them.

Announcers are driving me crazy. First they said that Oklahoma City is better after the Harden trade (one of the worst trade OF. ALL. TIME) and now they can't stop praising Derek Fisher, he of the 34% shooting from the field. (not a typo)

Cleveland have apparently approached Phil to take over as coach.

I think he'll go to Brooklyn if he is to return as coach. Would love him back at the Lakers but Jimmy seems to have a thing for Pringles so that's unlikely.
