 Nice excuse there just because your boy got shot down. Everyone plays hard in the last 5 minutes of the All Star game. The East lost the game last year because of LeBron James too.

 Lebron didn't look half arsed there lol. May be Bryant can show his skills in the next real game they play the Heat..

Also, "James did it last year too".. You know what happened last year right? I hope he does it again.. ;)

Lol at the Laker fans getting excited over a friendly game.

I'm not even a Laker fan. You know that. I just call it like I see it. I'm hoping the Spusr/Thunder win it this year, as the Sixers aren't going to make the playoffs. fecking Andrew Bynum.

The clear answer is: I was talking to the Lakers fans.

I disagree with your point though, you don't judge the killer instinct based on an all star game. Bryant is clearly trying to make up for his team's failures this season to try and grab some headlines. Bryant should have showed his tricks and his killer instinct in the two games they met the Heat this season, you know, when Lebron was really playing..

Fair enough if you were talking only to the laker fans
I was't judging Bron on the just the all star game. I said as much in my post.

Anyway, I'm out of this.

I know, and you weren't even excited in your post, so I was clearly not talking to you..

 Or maybe he just blocked Lebron twice in the closing stages of the all star game with no hidden motive.

Always nice to beat the Celtics. Shame that the Rockets won as well today.

Always good to beat the Celtics. Howard with an excellent game.

Harden dropped 46 on OKC last night on 19 shots, 7-8 from 3 pt. land including a half-court shot.

Comfortable win in the end, but you have to feel for the Bulls.

And by the way, anybody cheering for a player injury is a cnut.

Where is all this talk about the Lakers getting rid of Kobe coming from? First I hear it on ESPN and now Cuban querying if LA could amnesty Kobe!

Trading a legend and the only player who has played with heart this season would be another completely dickheaded move by Jimmy Buss.

If you're going to get rid of people, start with the coach and the clown big-man who managed to piss off Pop during the all-star game.

Nobody is that stupid ha_rooney, nobody. So all my senses refuse to believe that.

Good win for the Heat tonight by the way. And a triple double for James in 30 minutes. MVP?

Wade 33 points, 14/18 shooting.

Heat are warming up just in time for the playoffs :nervous:

I don't see anyone stopping them. I think they'll meet the Pacers in the finals. Knicks seem to be losing steam, and the Bulls don't have a chance without Rose.

What happened to the Knicks? They started out pretty well this season.. They gave the Heat some good beating twice this season as well.. :(

By the way, I see you're a proud American adexkola..

There have been bad calls for both teams in the end. Meanwhile, Nash with a 3, 99-95, Kobe clutch as ever

Big 4th quarter performance from Kobe and an important win for LA.

Lakers have improved hugely from the first half of the season. They'll make the playoffs easily IMO (7th).

Lakers v Clippers is still on.

How exactly are the Clippers going to play the Lakers in the playoffs? Clips are in the 3rd. Lakers in 9th. If anything by the end of the season we are going to be either 7th or 8th. Clips are not going to catch Thunder. So 2nd place is out of the question. They are either going to be 4th which means they will play 5th seed or 3rd meaning they will be play the 6th seed. The Lakers have very little chance of reaching either of those positions.

And I wasn't doubting James ability. I was only referring to the All Star game. I know what he can do. I know he is the best player in the game right now and I know he is better than Kobe and is coming from a Laker fan. And without a shadow of a doubt you guys are the favorites to win the title again.

If the Clippers didn't miss Paul for several games, they would have probably been second now, as they were at an earlier point this season. All what separates the two is three games at the moment (and the Thunder still has to visit the Clippers), so it's not that far-fetched that they catch up and finish second IMO.

And even though I think the Lakers will finish 7th, there is also a chance they might even catch up with the warriors (they still have two game against them).

Not saying it's the most probable outcome at the moment mind you, but it's at least still on.. I think it will be a great matchup if it happens.

I had nothing to do with it :o

Our 3 point shooting has become erratic of late. Chandler is a behemoth defensively, but he's not that great in the offensive paint.

Phew! Terrible 3rd quarter, but managed to squeeze a win in the end..

Wade with 15 in the fourth quarter!

Each time Superbitch misses a FT, he should be deducted a % of his salary. How can a professional basketball player be so pathetic from the FT line?

Lakers lose an important game but they always struggle away to Denver. A lot of teams do due to the altitude. Still struggling to reach the 8th spot I see.

Remaining games:
Away against a playoff team = 7
Home against a playoff team = 6
Away against non-playoff team = 5
Home against a non-playoff team = 6

The Lakers are still on course to score 45 wins. They won 6 of the last 10 games, which was what I thought they will need to do, so they are on the right track at the moment.

They can afford to lose the red ones at the moment, as long as they keep winning all the other ones. In the last 10 games they did drop a home game against the Clippers (which they should have won), but they made up for it by beating the Nets away.

It is true that The Hawks are not even training now (because they are that good)? The commentary said it in the game versus Sacramento.

WOW! What a game against the Kings.. Double overtime, so:

James: 40-8-16 (14/23)
Wade: 39-8-7 (19/28)

Heat wins 141-129.

Thornton hit 8 3-pointers for the Kings (for a total of 36 points).

Double overtime against the Kings
