Nations League 24/25 | November Internationals (Matchday 5-6)

Honestly, that Molumby guy should be ashamed of that behaviour. Looks utterly pathetic when Walker picks him up and he’s still holding his face as though someone hit him.

I genuinely couldn’t care less for the “Nation’s League”. A poor attempt by UEFA to make a quick buck during a congested league season. UEFA are seriously pushing clubs to try that super League. Stupid.

Are you going to post to declare your disinterest in every thread you're not interested in? Not posting in them is most people's preferred method.

Have you not been watching football the last 30 years?

A feisty half. I'm starting to hum some Wolfetones.

We are definitely more solid under the dentist. We were great away to Finland, but I was worried it was a one-off considering how awful we were at home to them. Not getting hammered against England is quite a good surprise.

He did it beside Kane to draw attention to the shit that Harry has been getting away with for years. Subtle but so powerful. I found it quite moving. Bravo Jason.

England need to move on from Kane. He is still a productive footballer if you win enough penalties and have enough movement/service to get him in to shooting positions, but a liability in every other sense. Needs too much time to do anything now and for centre backs, everything he does is in front of them. Also just straight up does not press. These Irish centre backs are having an extremely comfortable evening against him. A Solanke or Watkins doesn't have his footballing quality but they will offer a physical challenge and they'll know they're in a contest.

Obviously difficult with this match as so many of the top talents are missing but going forward it has to be about getting the best out of Palmer, Bellingham & co, players who will want that physical, running presence up top who they can try to pick out and who opens up space for their own game.

The players missing would also makes it a bit easier on the Irish CBs. Kane looks slow, but if you are creating chances, which a full-strength England would, then he'd probably put them away. But yes, having a plan to replace him would be sensible.

 He's like your new Maradona.
If he goes on a run from his own half and scores, I’ll write to him personally to apologise.

But seriously, he’s a decent player for West Brom, just prone to those moments of madness.

Keep on thinking of John Scales with the guy who got sent off. 90s player who got a few England caps.

Considering he was already punishing that foul with a penalty, the decision to give him a second yellow seems stupidly harsh. In keeping with an officiating team that was determined to ignore a blatant penalty against England in the first half.

It's Michael Oliver.

I bet Scales is regretting that silly booking for trying to grab the ball off Gallagher earlier.
