Nations League 24/25 | November Internationals (Matchday 5-6)

Been pretty encouraged from what I've seen from Bosnia under Barbarez. Unfortunately the squad is in a really bad state and we are somehow in league A for the nation's league, so we're getting fecked with fixtures a bit and losing every game under him. Putting in a good fight though.
Please twat hungary.

Though wear extra shin pads. They kick a lot.

Team which was second and third on last two World cups having ugliest stadium in Europe is disgrace.

What is going on with this stadium? Looks like the pitch is surrounded by a graveyard.

Croatia feel a bit like they were after all their 90s greats retired from 2001 onwards. Of course Modric earned the right to decide when he wants to retire but he is 39 now and think Ivan Perisic is 35 or 36. Kramaric also into his 30s so not sure if there's a talent pool problem in certain areas but can see them struggling to make tournaments if a decent CF dosen't emerge.

I know i am 100% biased regarding this but same story i hear/read whole my life.

Don't think Gomes has had a great last month at Lille but I was surprised he was left out as he did o.k in the last two games.

Foden being an automatic starter is mystifying me a fair bit. 4 goals in 40 odd caps now and even in his early years he didn't have the same impact for England as for his club.

Was terrible in the Euros bar the first half v Holland.

Why is he just an undisputed starter? Of course he reaches a great level for his club but so does Palmer and he's hardly started a competitive match for England in 12 months.

I think between Bellingham and Foden you have to go for Jude simply due to him being able to come up with a goal in poor matches like last night and Slovakia. Foden just floats around passing the ball sideways and is then subbed, that's his impact in England games generally.

I do think there are a fair number of issues developing with this England team now so don't see them as top 4-5 contender for next World cup regardless of manager pick. Home Euros in 2028 is the one that needs to be targeted to win.
IMO they should quit targeting "winning". They should instead concentrate on formulating the most balanced squad possible. With strong partnerships in defence and center midfield. They do that winning will take of itself. That is how Spain went from consistent nearly men and dissapointments pre 2014 to serial winners after.

You mean pre 2008.

Pedro Porro is a massive downgrade from Carvalaj for Spain.

I can't take the sight of Yamal throwing himself to the ground every time there's a tiny, tiny contact on him.

Yamal is getting that Barca Messi reffing where every time he hits the ground, it's a free kick no matter how he got there.

Spain’s sportsmanship is awful to watch. Denmark huffed and puffed in the second half l, but Spain probably deserved that win. Decent game to watch.

To be honest Denmark didn't do anything of note. Very solid defensively, but I don't think they had a shot at goal in the second half. It was only a matter of time before Spain was going to get a goal in.

That's a much better team today from Carsley. Hopefully Henderson can do well in goal as well

At least it looks more balanced and actually has a midfield this time round. Hopefully won't get cut open as quickly.

Kane and Grealish should give us a lot more control and stability in the final third.

Wow looks like the exact front 6 I'd chose, maybe Watkins for movement and stretching the play etc. But I want Bellingham there and Gomes is a good pick for ball retention and 433
