Name four players you think we'll buy in the summer

How would we feel if the four are:

Griezmann
Keane
Matuidi
Belotti

That's easily £200m depending on the Matuidi and Belotti prices.

Not very happy as I don't rate Keane and Matuidi would have been a good signing 5 years ago but now he is past it.

Would prefer

Lindelöf
N'zonzi
Morata
Griezmann

Preferably signing a fullback and a GK aswell (if DDG leaves)

I hope Jose buys players for a system rather than buying players without thinking if they first into the system (LVG) or just panic buying because you could not be bothered to prepare for the biggest job (name which should not be spoken)
To be honest I don't want flashy mega star signings, yes the odd one would be good. But I hope we give youngsters a chance. TFM and Tuch should be promoted and I would take a serious look at Ajax CB De Ligt. 17 he looked quality, sell Jones or Smalling and get him brought. Let him stay with Ajaxs for another year or so.

Griezmann
Semedo/Mendy
Midfielder (no idea who, could be one of dozens of names)
Lindelof

A left back has to be our priority after Griezmann. Darmian limits us so much in attack and we can't wait on Shaw anymore. It's worrying that we haven't been linked with many, hope Jose isn't gonna settle with using a pure defender in that position. It's easy to look good when you only have to worry about defending. Expect to see at least 5 signings judging by Mourinho's attitude towards the squad throughout the season.

Griezmann
Mendy
Van Dijk
Dier

would be a decent window.

Mitchell, Tuanebe, Pereira would make good squad players and Fosu-mensah could do with a loan, preferably in the PL. Really hope to at least see Pereira become an important squad member next season, think he is the perfect player to rotate with Pogba. We don't need Keane when we have Tuanzebe to give minutes too, he's a much better prospect.

Out:

Smalling, Jones, Young and Rooney.

Antoine Griezmann
Renato Sanches
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (a game changer for the run-in)
Virgil Van Dijk
... wouldn't be surprised if we picked up someone like Lichsteiner on a free either.

Griezmann
Mendy
Van Dijk.
Dier

would be a decent window.

Im not a big fan of Dier but it really would be a decent window. Pogba-Herrera-Dier-Fellaini would be good enough to PL. If we are lucky, Rashford is our Kane so we maybe dont need striker. Martial and Griezmann can stunt Rashford. I would add there one more attacking player. It could be someone like Rodriguez or pure winger. Or even striker if there is no enough trust to Rashford.

Right now if i have to name four:

Griezmann
Rodriguez
CB (Keane)
DMF/MF (Dier, Fabinho, Bakayoko)

I have feeling that LB is not on the top of the list.

I just want a right winger so we can have real time width. We are absolutely blunt on that side of the pitch going forward, it compromises our counter attack as well as affects Pogba's game. He will have more freedom in mid-field if we have quality on both flanks.

Willian would be great! We need some quality from set-pieces too, which he will provide. He's not a starter at Chelsea right now and Jose has a very good relationship with him.

If Conte recruits more on the right wing this summer, we should go for him.

---Pogba-Herrera
------N'Zonzi----

would be a hell of a midfield defensively. Not sure we'd be any more fun to watch, but we might win the Prem with enough 1-0s with that setup, particularly with Morata's hold up ability.

Lineup vs Juventus/Real - Super cup.

Oblak

Shaw
Jones/Smalling
Bailly
Darmian

Alli
Dier

Pogba

Martial
Griezmann
Rashford

To be fair I've done this wrong. This is more four players I'd like rather than four we'll get. No way Spurs sell us Alli. So I guess keep the other three and throw Rodriguez in.

Griezmann
Aubameyang
Van Djek

I'm good with only those 3 additions. Manchester, even with Ibra was one of worst finishing teams in the premier league. We're talking low 5 when it comes to goals scored.

Rashford doesn't play the #9 position well enough. We're going to need more than Griezmann scoring goals. Aubameyang would be a steal right now.

I don't get why so many of you are ignoring your left back position. Surely that's the position you have a bigger problem in right now. Knowing Mourinho I'd say Mendy is a guarantee.

Morata would be a great signing too if Real were stupid enough to sell him, especially if you get Griezmann.

I would go for:
Bertrand - £40m
Fabinho - £45m
Griezmann - £85m
Sanchez - £60m

Is that realistic? I fear city will snap up fabinho though and Sanchez looks more likely to join Bayern.

Griezmann
Silva (Bernardo)
Alderweireld (read something about a buy out clause, is that true?)
Fabinho

I want to see Pereira getting some chances next season...

Because defense wasn't the weakness on the squad this year. Dropped points due to a shite ton of draws because we didn't score enough goals was the problem. It was the BIGGEST problem.

Yeah, I think at least 1 fullback is guaranteed this summer. Will be interesting to see who we get and who City gets...I imagine Mendy could be courted by both clubs.

Greaseman
Morata
Fabinho

Plus one CB, but I'm not really sure if any of the ones we are linked with actually improve us.

From the rumours it sounds like:

Griezmann
One of Dier and Bakyoko
One of Lindelof and Keane
One of Belotti and Lukaku

If I had to pick…

Griezmann
Dier
Keane
Lukaku

Who replaces Ibra's goal scoring? It certainly wont be Rushford.

Our DEFENSE was already good enough.

Griezmann will help... but your going to need someone else to help set up scoring.

I think it will be: Griezmann, done deal.
Naby Keita, Woody will make them an offer they can't refuse.
Bakayoko, one of the real keys to Monaco's performance.
Belotti, but Torino will need to be reasonable about the price.

Griezmann
Morata
DM who sits back --- Fabinho maybe but not entirely convinced.
Lindelof/ Keane

You've just chosen the 3 Prem guys. Have you really seen enough of Belotti or Lindelof to decide?

Actually, I am warming up to the idea of Morata as a striker for us, especially if Jose thinks Rashford is too young to be leading the line on his own at the moment. Besides the numbers game, where Morata's goalscoring per minute is actually pretty good, Jose should know him pretty well during his stint as Real's manager. Jose was also the one who gave Morata his debut and should be very sure of his mentality when it comes to his idea of players who can be pushed.

Fabinho was also given his Real debut by Jose, so maybe it will be return of two of Jose's proteges under his wing?

So, like some have said, Griezmann, Morata and Fabinho will be great. Not sure about the defensive signings though, since those of top quality are few and far between in today's footballing world.

If we are looking for 2 forwards and Mourinho sees Rashford playing centrally upfront next season, then as backup I won't mind going for someone like Chicharito. Griezmann, Chicharito, 1-2CMs and probably Keane as CB.

I wouldn't be surprised if we haven't heard of a couple coming in yet. Pogba and Ibra were pretty well documented last season but Mkhitaryan and Bailly came out of nowhere.

It's at the point no where I'll be disappointed if Griezmann doesn't come in but as for the others, I'm not sure.

Just add Mendy to that list and we are set.

I've not really seen anything of Lindelof, but it is based on the need to maintain a strong homegrown quota.

One things for sure we cannot go into a season with Jones or Smalling again. We all know they will be crocked at some point and the back 4 should be settled. Get shut of both and bring a CB with an unblemished injury record. I thought Sanchez was superb for Ajax. So....

Sanchez
Griezman
Mbappe
Fabinho

I would hope Griezman, but it's looking like a tricky one and his comments are not helping install positivity.
Dier? i like him but Spurs will not allow it. I hope we#ll beat Chelsea to Bakayoko but i'm not confident
I am sure we'd get keane but is he the best available to us?
With Silva gone, I think we'll try and get Bale, but he's struggling with fitness and a man bun.

I have no idea who Jose will bring in. Maybe a surprise?

Honestly when you look at the names, it makes you realise how hard it's going to be. The pool is shallow and everyone is looking at the same players. If you don't get your plan A, plan B's aren't massively different than more squad players.

our priority is attacking positions due to goals/chance conversion being our biggest issue

maybe a strong CB leader and holding midfielder might convince Jose to take the handbrake off a bit though

Ed has had the list for 2 months- let's hope he's made good progress on the targets
