He plays in tandem with another striker the vast majority of times. It's either Torres/Gameiro for Atleti or Giroud/Gameiro for France.

I have no idea how Mourinho intends to use him. He might decide to play him on the LW or upfront as part of a 2-striker pair.

There's been intense debate on the Griezmann thread about how whether he fits into our current system or whether we'd have to change to accommodate him. It's all guesswork, needless to say.

He started up top in a counter attacking set up in a 4-4-1-1 or 4-5-1 variation. I doubt Mourinho will use him as a striker, more likely as you said WF or #10(second striker rather than playmaker).

I think United can afford more than 140 million in the summer. I also think we will be offloading some players. So I think these 4 are very attainable

Zlatan should stay for another year. When he's fit & ready in January, he'd be great option for us. We need that depth and experience for next season. Mbappe and Rashford can be starters next year. We'll also have Ibra and Martial as well who will play games. Now that's a formidable foursome. I've always thought you need 4 quality strikers to win domestic and European trophies. Like we did in 1999, throughout the premier league era under Sir Alex and in 2008 when we had Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, and Dimitar Berbatov when we won the CL.

Mourinho always does well in his 2nd season. Imagine Martial on the left, Mbappe up top, Rashford on the right. Inexperienced yes but they would make the defenders cr*p their pants. One can dream! LOL.

Can't see us going in for Verratti. Would cost at least 60M. Matuidi best position is on the left side of midfield, which is Pogba's best position.

Breaks down to often and has contributed less goals/assists to that team than James despite playing more minutes. Not saying we should sign James, but I think he's massively overrated on here. Bernardo Silva should be the one we go for.

Bale would at the most be able to rip the premiership one season.. His best days are gone he is injury prone and like Rooney will only get worse the closer he gets to 30

Why on earth would Jose sometimes play center backs such as Bailly or Jones or Tuanzebe at right back? Rojo was poor at left back in a defence that was seriously struggling last season. There's no doubt that we'll be in for Mendy but sometimes you have to stay loyal as a manager to players who have not let you down and so far Rojo deserves to stay in the team when fit. With Keane probably arriving then Rojo might not be needed as a center back anymore

Rojo has been perhaps our best CD this year. Him and Bailly next year will very interesting. Jones and Tuanzabe as cover. Assuming Smalling goes and we bring in no further players (unlikely).

Rojo was a very poor left back and it almost ruined his career at United.

true, but that was when it was considered a blip. When you have spend hundreds of millions on big names and still finish comfortably outside the top four, again, it seems like things won't be changing and players will be wondering if/when they'll see CL football again if they sign.

Ronaldo and Giggs could have been similar but they worked extra hard for years and adapted their game to cope with aging .

Bailly and Rojo are nailed on as our starting CBs. If we buy Keane, keep Tuanzebe and retain one of Smalling or Jones we should be fine.
