On the back of Ford being critical to the U.S. war effort, producing bombers, jeeps, and military trucks, they were growing in an environment of economic expansion, government-backed infrastructure projects, and rising consumer demand.

Tesla is in an era of economic uncertainty, rising competition, fluctuating government support, and is led by a giant knob.

I wouldn't be surprised about potential incoming war contracts for Tesla/SpaceX, though. Brown shirts are always good at brown nosing the right arseholes.

That all depends on the company's worth.

They are holding $1bn of customer deposits with the promise of producing cars from 8 years ago now and they keep doing it with every model.

The Roadster for example isn't even in production. If there was a class action against them they'd be done.

Not insignificant at all and I can see it picking up pace. It’s becoming a bit of a thing to “make examples” out of Tesla vehicles (and I completely agree with a Tesla owning poster on here that attacking them is unfair because a lot bought them before they knew anything about Musk). Regardless, it’s happening and that along with new Tesla being less desirable, people getting rid of them is going to tank the resale value which in turn will make them less desirable.

I can’t see any other final result than Musk being removed from his position by shareholders.

I don't see how Tesla can even be successful in this era, who their customers might even be. The group Musk caters to now hates EVs, and people who embrace EVs hate Musk. Its market cap is already higher than all other car manufacturers COMBINED and there's no way it doesn't drop massively over the next several months.

He'll funnel so much government money through SpaceX that he won't care about this at all. If anything he might actually start actively pushing to destroy Tesla as its original mission was kind of woke.

I have avoided buying a Tesla because of this idiot, but what I couldn’t avoid was having to sign up to Starlink. My area has no fibre broadband and the standard broadband is shite and need it for work.

Any alternatives to Starlink would be greatly appreciated!

Well we have to start with ourselves. I thought about doing it today when a Tesla drove by slowly but was afraid to get my ass kicked by a neo nazi environmentalist who wants to save planet.

I’d short the feck out of it if I didn’t accept he is a master manipulator of the stock prices of his companies and as he’s sucking on Trump’s teet the odds of him getting some massively favourable EO or government subsidy is quite high.
