Musk | Fascist | Leader of the Free World

Not saying it's the right thing to do but this definitely hurts Musk himself. If no people buy Tesla's anymore because they'd get destroyed in the streets, Tesla shares would drop immensely, making Musk less wealthy.

Whether or not that is the way to go about it, billionaires need to understand that they can and will be held accountable for what they do and if the government doesn't live up to that, people will not just stand there and watch.
Is taking a s*** on Tesla's illegal?

A non essential element of debate from me here, but a thought, I wonder if this Nazi glorification is less likely to happen in the UK becuase of the direct impact we suffered as a country, in terms of the blitz etc.

Whereas America never had a direct attack from the Nazi's so don't have the same reflex response to Nazi salute etc.

Not saying we won't have the tise of the far right in the UK, I just expect it will look different!

It was interesting to see that Jordan Barella of National Rally in France (the Le Pen party) decided against speaking at the CPAC rally. Some gestures are just too blatant to ignore, even for a racist, populist party.

Surely his companies are all affected. He cant keep appearing on TV all the time and still have his companies innovating at a very rapid pace. Opening doors for the competitors.

Where is the white text?

He has very little to do with innovation at any of his companies any more, if he ever did.

Patel came back to FBI workers asking them to not respond to the email Musk was talking about yesterday. Hope this creates precedent that other agencies follow through on and soon they will just start ignoring his power grab, which is inevitably going to create numerous chasms across the government agencies.

Don’t think that will be the case. For old voters, yes. But the way I see England, the way younger (well younger than the old ones with parents affected by wwII) people treat Nazism has always rubbed me the wrong way. English people basically grew up with Nazis being nothing but a punchline for lame jokes and something funny to cosplay with. I never had the feeling that Nazism causes the disgust it should over there. But that might be a completely wrong reading of English culture.
I think you have a point, it has been the punch line of jokes too. But they're is also a more personal connection to the deaths/ losses in WW2 in particular. I'm sure it is the same in Germany too some degree. I think some of that is just down to the repressed British sense of humour. Although the constant re- invoking the spirit of the blitz is cringe worthy.

Can't say I've ever seen many British folk cosplaying as Nazis. In fact, back when Prince Harry was still beloved as a member of the Royal family there was a massive scandal when he went dressed as a Nazi officer to a party.
