I think this will be locked as soon as we sack him come May 12.We'll see.
I'm done here anyway. I'll remember to bump this thread every once in a while over the next few seasons. It'll be fun.

You can only judge him once he gets his own walls in. What's he supposed to do with someone else's walls?Decorator came over to paint the house yesterday. I was slightly concerned when instead of painting he began lacing the walls with petrol before sitting the sofa on fire. However, I decided I probably shouldn't complain until he'd finished the job, since it wouldn't be fair otherwise. In other news, I am now homeless.

I think you're in for some disappointment then.I think this will be locked as soon as we sack him come May 12.
We'll see...I think you're in for some disappointment then.

I've seen a couple of people who are sure we'll get rid as soon as the season is over. I sometimes think that it might just happen. Who knows? But then I remember his 6 year contract, and that Sir Alex and Sir Bobby are still on the board.I think this will be locked as soon as we sack him come May 12.

Also, Moyes is planning for next season, still scouting away and looking all chirpy at recent press conferences.
His non-CL qualification sack clause is yet to come into effect.Oh you poor deluded fool. Do you think men like the Glazers, who are ruthless genius businessmen, will be sitting there thinking, yeah let's let him finish the season, and then we'll sack him the day after the season finishes!
He was promising me that he'd bring in the best walls that money could buy. He's changed his tune since, saying he'll try but it'll be difficult as the best ones are all off competing at the Wall Cup.You can only judge him once he gets his own walls in. What's he supposed to do with someone else's walls?

The Glazers care about their money...
Nah, it is much better to be a Moyes atheist. We Moyes agnostics are the only ones that can't be disappointed. You should try it some time.

I know, that last bit was intended to be sarcasmBut it is applicable in this situation. Man UTD is not just a club.
Good post.
Trust me, agnostics have it better. We don't have to keep posting the same tired old shit every day. Must get tiring .
I still can't get my head around the fact he is still our manager. It genuinely depresses me.
That depresses you , really?
No chance in hell he gets a 6 year contract without get-outs. Just a question of what they are, I'd imagine top four would be the most obvious to include.there won't be any such clause. Noone thought it was even a possibility!

PotAngry circle jerk.
It's a bunch of spoilt tarts trying to prove who hates Moyes more/hated him first.
You're pathetic.
What?Pot
Kettle
Black?
Black Monday, in the NFL is the day after the last regular season game when coaches traditionally get the ax. So-yes, the Glazers are familiar with keeping coaches around for the season before firing them.Er yeah. If their ownership of Tampa Bay is anything to go by, these ruthless businessmen usually sack managers when a disappointing season has effectively finished. And guess what some of those reasons were...a bad run of results, vast underachievement, negative/defensive tactics, failure to make the play-offs after spending big money, losing the faith of players. Sound familiar?
But that's the thingAnyone not waiting at least 2 years (I think 3 is fairer) before judging Moyes is simply being impatient.
But that's the thing
I HAVE seen Moyes for a decade and there is no change, let alone improvement, in his perceived shortfalls
You cannot repackage a Maiasaur into a Velociraptor by just giving it a fancy new claw, can you? It'll still eat grass and lick your face like the mother cow dinosaur it is

Because the MoyesIn camp is as passionate and circle jerky at defending him as the MoyesOut camp is at finding faultsWhat?
Moyesie doesn't have the demeanour of a man who is anywhere near the sack.
He's talking next season plans and all sorts.
I'd be hugely surprised to see him go. Even when it's important of money versus saving face, we'll look ridiculous having given it loads about 6 year deals, we back managers etc
Wow, OK mate. You think that.Because the MoyesIn camp is as passionate and circle jerky at defending him as the MoyesOut camp is at finding faults
Don't pretend it's otherwise just because your numbers are running low at the moment
This is a football forum where debates will happen, people will say the same things over and over again, some people will spew bile till they collapse. All are traits common to both camps
Taking a moral high ground compared to the other camp is nothing short of irrational

That's how we need to explain it to silent runningWhat an analogy that is you do know your stuff about the dinosaurs.
I agree. I was just pointing out that it's not unusual in the NFL for coaches to remain in their jobs and then get fired right after the season ends.Moyesie doesn't have the demeanour of a man who is anywhere near the sack.

Well, he may talk the talk but maybe that decision hasn't been made yet and wouldn't he be the last to know?
