I'm not sure, if the board deem this season rescuable without Moyes in anyway he'll be sacked before the season ends.No matter how worse it gets, he'll only be sacked at the end of the season.

Yeah, there's nothing to suggest that his job is under threat. We seem very very committed to giving him a "proper go" at this. He'll get two years minimum I reckon. All of which is a bit depressing given he's a bit crap for this level.I'd be inclined to agree but I can't help but fear he's going nowhere. Especially after last nights post match interview in which he suggested he's under no pressure from within the club.

But at least we'll be able to look back and say we gave him a fair shot (read way way too long) at it. That will make us better than everyone else.Yeah, it's all a bit disheartening.
I dont because he wont change his tactics and he wont be able to sign the players he wants. Chelsea, City, Arsenal and Liverpool are all going for big signings in the summer, plus who knows how many continental clubs. Already seen this week that Chelsea are virtually guaranteed to get Shaw and City want Carvalho. He'll do better next season (how could he not?), despite not doing as well as he should, and will probably get another season after that. Exciting times.
Even if we win all our games up until the Everton game, that game is the point when it will be mathematically impossible for us to get fourth. I expect him to get sacked after the Everton game, it always comes back to a Everton
He will do better. He simply can't do worse. Roy Hodgson couldn't do worse.I dont because he wont change his tactics and he wont be able to sign the players he wants. That happened? I saw the interview and didn't hear anything of the sort.I do find it telling that Giggsy refused to acknowledge Moyes in the after match interview. He could've come out and at least publicly supported the man in light of recent reports of a rift between the two of them. Maybe some managerial change is underway ?

Interesting stats about Moyes coming up in RTE

Thing is, it's easy to be a football manager (you can be one, even mediocre) - just play young things because young players are the future, use older experienced incredible players only sparingly and then find/train someone young who can be the next Giggsy etc...I see what you mean but for me it is legitimate for Moyes to be thinking about the future, that is why this was always going to be a bit of a transitional season and early on in the season I understood it would be all about experimenting and building for the future, so I stick with that view even now it has proved difficult to see the performances that have come from that. What I think it does show though is the need me have for a quality midfielder who can do what Giggs did last night more consistently, hopefully last night's performance will crystalise in Moyes' mind the kind of player he needs to buy. I agree he could have used Giggs better and we might have won some important games we lost, and maybe got top 4, if he had used him more earlier, but my point was really that I understood the rationale of not using Giggs more, in the context of people saying he didnt give a good interview. His answer in this case (and on the whole) was concise, to the point and rational, which is all you can really ask for.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it to suit the anti-Moyes agenda.
I reckon you or I or even next doors cat are probably a better option, judging on what we've seen so far. We keep hoping upon hope he's going to turn it round but even if he can I've completely gone off him, even just hearing his voice annoys me at times.I suppose it comes down to who is available in the summer. The club won't sack Moyes if there's no better option attainable, will they? If Klopp expresses any interest we should go all out for him.
I think a complete lack of faith in Moyes from the group of players is very possible. But I doubt Giggs in that instance meant it in that manner. I mean, it's a really daft question, isn't it? What does Ryan Giggs owe Moyes ? Heck , if anything, after where he's lead this team, it's Moyes who owes Manchester United.Basically it was something like this :
Geoff Shreeves : Was it more satisfying Ryan given the pressure on the manager to turn it around ?
Giggs : There's pressure with disappointing performance and results. Like Wayne said we owed the fans because they're unbelievable.
Full stop. Could've said the manager inspired us given the heat Moyes is under but didn't. Didn't even mention his name. Similar to Carrick earlier non-committal. Also contrary to Moyes' suggestion that we're primed to win the Champion's League, Giggs said we're not getting carried away. Maybe I'm reading too much into it to suit the anti-Moyes agenda.
maybe, what I do think is obvious is that Moyes has had many fractions with players (feel he lost the dressing room at some point ages ago but that's just an assumption). The players aren't fans of his you feel.
There's probably only two or three managers who the club would look to replace Moyes with. It is a difficult situation we find ourselves in, the club made a balls of it last summer.I reckon you or I or even next doors cat are probably a better option, judging on what we've seen so far. I actually can't believe how poor our succession planning has been, looking at how the players have reacted to the bereavement of Ferguson retiring. Likely the only option would have been to have him retire as part of the back room staff for a season, whilst he handed over the reigns to his successor yet still held a managerial role within the club. The transition has just been to much for all concerned, the only other option from that would have been to appoint a proven top manager, we failed to do either and are rightly paying the price. There's probably only two or three managers who the club would look to replace Moyes with. It is a difficult situation we find ourselves in, the club made a balls of it last summer.
Moyes' job security polarizes opinion on the Caf', it really is an impossible one to call as we've nothing really to base estimates on regarding how long he'll last.

He's been lambasted for doing the opposite from the day he became manager. I'd rather he said stuff like that to be honest.
Anyone can say anything they want. This is heading to such great intellectual heights. He can say what he wants period,a bunch of angry keyboard bashers won't change that.

I wouldn't be critical of that personally. He seems very perky and smiley for someone who has managed to inspire our squad to look so miserable and play so poorly. Don't know what he's on but it would seem sensible to give the players a bit of it.
Course, he might not be on anything except the knowledge that the board were daft enough to give him a 6 yr contract.
Each to our own I suppose. Eventually he'll realise that it's time to take his situation seriously.I wouldn't be critical of that personally.
The smiling is more of a "it's so bad you might as well laugh at it" smile.
So it's a smile that's apparently like a laugh. Fecking hell.
I'm sure he does. But it's not easy when things go this horribly wrong. Haven't you sometimes smirked when things are properly messed up? Almost feeling sorry for yourself by doing that? Each to our own I suppose. Eventually he'll realise that it's time to take his situation seriously.
