Moyes So Far!

feck it. I've tried to defend him for as long as possible, wanted him to be our manager so was glad but today is the last straw. No excuses. You can blame the players too, not denying they have to hold themselves accountable but why he picks conservative teams when they can't do the job is beyond me. Play to your strengths and in this case its attacking, we have the players for that. They'd keep the ball and create chances. Having only Rooney and RVP is not enough when the others don't know what to do.

Sadly... It's a start though. I hate how he's a media darling just because he's British, even though he's an asshole to them in press conferences.

I reckon the gutter press will change it's tune now. It's one thing to be an embarrassment domestically, but he has just embarrassed the glory of the premier league now as well.

He doesn't deserve any "war chest". He's done bugger all to deserve it.

It's like the Villas Boas situation: He spent £100 million, and didn't get a good enough return so was sacked. Why should Moyes be given a chance to stay, let alone spend that amount of money?

"Hey Moyes, I know we've let you spend £60 million on improving the squad, but since that clearly didn't work as it is such a minimal amount of money, we're going to let you spend £150 million more, because we really believe in you".

I really am reminded of the pain of seeing my dog dying here. Please, put him down. There's no hope left.

Stop the panic. He needs money to make it his squad. If given time he will turn good. Players aren't even trying.

Look on the bright side. At least going out to these saves us from a double digit aggregate loss to a decent team.

The fans aren't even calling him out.

I know I might get stick for this and get called a plastic fan but we need the match-going crowd to stand up and say that they won't tolerate this.
Hopefully the Glazers will support Moyes so then matchgoers will turn against him. It is the only way. They are so irrational.

to be fair to moyes, he was never going to break any of SAF's records, so his only other option to get his name ingraved into United's history is by being the best in the completely opposite direction

He doesn't deserve to spend big money unless he suddenly becomes a tactical genius. Moyes' tactics are designed to negate any creativity or intelligence players have. Until he changes, there's not going to be any improvements in our performances or results.

''I want YOU to be the manager of Manchester United.''

I hope fergie is well chuffed now with this ''we scotsman are fearless dock workers/wood choppers, we are of the working class'' manager choosing strategy.

On the contrary, he's broken several of them already hasn't he?

For how long are the fans going to remain classy and continue singing for Moyes whilst he serves shit sandwiches twice a week? I swear no other top team in Europe would have responded the way we have to Moyes' football. Are we really going to endure this nonsense just because Fergie asked us to support the manager and because we are better than Chelsea and Liverpool fans? Are the players going to continue pretending that they are happy playing for Moyes and Phil Neville?

Press Conf prediction:

"Thought we played well...first goal was incredibly lucky, second was a worldie.....thought we played well.....don't know what I have to do"

First ever defeat against Swansea.
First ever defeat against a Greek team.
First defeat in more than 2 decades in OT against Newcastle.
First defeat in more than 3 decade in OT against WBA.
First defeat in more than two decade in OT against Everton.

He will hope we can improve. And he will also remind us that we are Manchester United.

Is he still on for the most defeats in a season?

god damn it...I said he could never break SAF's records (the good ones), hence the only way to get in United's history books is to do the complete opposite of SAF and break all the bad ones...how is nobody getting this?

Cleverley has been useless for ages so what is Moyes thinking is bringing him back into the team for our biggest game of the season?

Honestly, I'd love to hear his reasoning for it.

"we played well tonight, we did the right things. we were unlucky"

just waiting to hear that to cap off a shite evening now.

Moyes has fried your brain guys. Its not that hard to understand.

I don't get what's so hard to understand... They're called records too right?
the point is that SAF's records are good records, ones you'd be proud of...and Moyes hasn't brokeN any of those kind of records

Christ man everyone got your post, I just made a sad and poor joke about it, chill out.

The biggest remaining game of the season and he picks possibly the worst combination that he could've picked.

He hasn't learned a thing this season. If anything he has become even more stubborn with his tactics as the results have gotten shitter.

Who's that man we hired from Everton?
Who's that man we all abhor?
David Moyes is his name,
and he hasn't got a brain,
and we won't be winning trophies anymore!

One-dimensional dross. Not only are we tactically naive but the players have zero confidence. Moyes has no strategy, he has no plan B - it's unbelievable how easy we are to play against.

Initially I thought Moyes was a good fit for Utd. I couldn't imagine things would be this bad, even in my worst nightmares.

What's the betting that Moyes says we played well in his post-match interview...

He has to go.
