Moyes So Far!

I hope he enjoys playing for Cardiff in the Championship, that post might have made sure he doesn't come back here. Silly boy.
Agreed. I'm no fan of David Moyes but we can't have player's taking subtle digs at him over social media. That's Rio, Chicharito and Zaha in about a week. Hope Moyes grows a pair of bollocks and hangs them all out to dry.

Yeah, Zaha's.
LongliveZaha. What a stupid username.

I guess that the Championship is at better level than U21 or the bench. He is very talented to play there so could get a better deal. Let's not act now that all it was ok from the club, Moyes gave him the chance but he didn't deliver and we had so many great options in the wing.

In fact, it is very possible that if he knew that SAF would leave and get replaced by Moyes he would have chosen Arsenal instead of us. Him, RVP and Shinji have every right to feel annoyed.

By calling his squad mentally weak hasn't he already done that?

Make no mistake about it Moyes lost the dressing room a long time ago, remember Chicharito is one of the most popular players at United, they've just been papering over the cracks. The stuff coming out on social media is just another sign that not only has Moyes lost the players but they're so fed up with him they can't even be bothered to hide it.

It is a silly statement to make, however all these tiny digs at Moyes isn't looking good. Something's not right.
These players don't deserve to be at the club, it's not the way a professional player should act.

Well, once a number of these players have actually left united..if they do...goodness knows what exclusives are going to be spouted in the tabloids this summer. It's so going to happen...

That's been obvious for months.

Honestly I cant wait to read them. I've had enough of the spin Woodward has been feeding the likes of Andy Mitten. I wanna know whats really going on in the dressing room and why so many senior pros are so obviously not buying what Moyes is selling.

When that many players are taking shots at Moyes, perhaps they're not the problem and the common denominator is...

This.

I can tell you now, they will be saying they didn't think he was good enough to manage them. They will end up coming out looking like right big heads and that some had their noses put out of joint.

true....and all this will be happening whilst Moyes tries to rebuild and sign players....which is probably not the greatest thing for prospective players to be reading...

It points to a certain narcissistic personality

They are ganging up on him, just like a load of flat track bullies. Hey Zaha, yes you were great in your first game for Cardiff at home, didn't pull up trees against Swansea, neither did god's gift to LB's Fabio.

In order of importance its gonna count for a lot less than finishing outside of the Champions League and playing 'Conference' like football...

what did chicharito say?

What Moyes should do now (if he has the full backing of the board, and I believe he has) is identify the troublemakers in the dressing room (RIO) and just show em the door. Even if it's RVP, Evra (RIO) or any other big personality. Fergie wasn't afraid to ship out big names. As Moyes tries to copy SAF so relentlessly, he shouldn't be as well.
Whoever can't or won't do what Moyes requires (in b4 crosses, ha ha ha), or isn't "inspired" by him should leave, simple as that.
Things can't get any worse, it's the perfect time for Moyes to stamp authority.

Or he can just continue to blame luck and every other thing til he gets the sack a year or two later. His choice really.

I'm not sure what he plans to gain from it, silly silly boy. I'm not Moyes biggest fan, but I expect our players to act in a professional manner. I feel like some of our players are letting themselves but more importantly the club down a bag full. If they don't buck up there ideas and keep their issues in house, then they should be shown the door.

This has to be the plan now. Surely he's gonna shaft a shower of them in the summer. Mind you, most would've been off anyway, even under Ferguson. Evra, Vidic and Ferdinand anyway...

We don't know what's going in and we will be the last to actually find out , for all we know moyes could be the flat track bully that is causing all the friction .

Look how happy he is
Did you want him to be sad? Seriously?

Actually things could get much worse. We could replace some world class players who clearly arent into Moyes' football with more workmanlike players. Workmanlike players who can tolerate crossing relentlessly but aren't up to getting us back into the Champions League, like Liverpool under Hodgson and then Dalglish. We could then find ourselves, like Liverpool, fighting to get back into the top four but with a much weaker squad than when we started trying to do so and without the leverage or funds to attract big names to the club to help us do that. So yes, it could get much worse.

I think that they know that when they start talking like this.

We love the phrase that they have left the club down, but what about the other part? That the club has left them down by appointing a manager who clearly isn't good enough (and sticking by him) and then the manager to call them mentally soft, in RVP/Kagawa/Zaha case ensuring them that SAF isn't on his last year and finally some of them not getting gametime for any apparent reason.

Why what Zaha/Chicha said is disgraceful but what Moyes said yesterday is fine?

World class experience players would have issue playing with tactic like yesterday. Do you think if Messi was told to play in Stoke system, he'd be effective and happy? No he wouldn't. So people has to understand why some senior players undermining Moyes, as most fans in here are doing it too.

I mean, do you really like the tactic Moyes has implemented so far with United? If yes, fair do on supporting him. If not, just being honest about it, and there's no reason blaming players.

Zaha has acted like a clown, and he has no excuses, but this is also true.

The reality is that we don't go to training, we're not sat in the dressing room and we aren't privy to the private discussions between the players when the manager isn't there. There is quite clearly a problem with the squad and the manager and I expect a Summer of parting shots explaining the reasons why. If the club think that selling half the squad in an attempt to remedy this is wise then more fool them. We'll be in for a rotten few years.

Jesus, the mental softness thing is really getting the star treatment. I really didn't have a problem with it, seemed fair comment to me.

That'd just be me then, eh?

That is if we know for certain Moyes wants us to cross the ball relentlessly. We don't know that. His Everton side showed variety in their play last season. Also he signed Mata, not a workmanlike player much.
Anyway I'd rather we had a few workmanlike players in midfield and defense right about now so we can actually start pressing a bit. If Moyes can get players that want to play for the club and don't hate him we'll improve.
