Mourinho tells Paul Pogba he'll never captain Manchester United again

Isnt it obvious that Mor is deflecting?? Im shocked that most folks on here cannot see through this. This is his classic tactic - the discussion and shifted from a shambolic loss to a championship side at HOME, and tactics for next game to.. pogba's instagram story? wtf? and ya'll are falling for it???

Nomather what happened, the crazy and wierd part for me, is that its getting out.
How in the world can it be a video, with audio, of that discussion between Mou and Pog!?!?
Modern microphones picking up sounds form large distance or favorable winds picking up sound farther

Apparently Sky has the rights to film a certain ammount of training sessions of each club, so there were actual Sky and MUTV cameras at training today.

This is all good.
I should have worded it in another way.

What i mean is how in the hell can they take this discussion where they did. They know its cameras.

How can we as a club let a video of this farce get out.

We regularly have seen footage from the warm-up of training sessions and Mourinho must be aware that they are there. Pogba tried to shake his hand (or actually did). The fact that Mourinho chooses to do it at this moment is completely in line with what type of manager he is.

Yeah, that's another story, a complete PR fart. Firstly, they all knew about the cameras. Secondly, our press guy doesn't seem to know that when you post on Instagram and the connection is shit, it will discontinue the upload and resume once the connection is good enough.

Yeah, think Mourinho knew what he was doing. They did shake hands though, you can hear two claps of hands after Pogba high-fived Carrick. Second was touching hands with John Allen, first one with Jose. My god, the state of all this. It's like we've become some paranormal investigators trying to clear the sound of shite EVP recordings to make out what's going on

Well on the plus side, at least we got to see a poster definitively proven wrong in the space of a page, which is always nice.

*cough* @vangagal *cough*

Okay.
But how does that help MUFC?
We just lost to Derby. Drew to Wolves and you are taking pleasure in proving someone on the internet, who you don't know, wrong?

:wenger:

It's probably required by the FA, just like it is in other leagues. You'll get fined, if you don't do certain media stuff in the NFL. I'm guessing it's the same thing here.

Sack the press officer. Sure as hell we weren't in need of such unnecessary melodrama.

Why sack anybody?
Jes' this place is all about sacking people and firing them from their jobs.
People need to get a grip.

I'm definitely going OTT here and I know it. Just terribly annoyed of all of this.

Press officer is a shit-stirrer. His relationship with the squad is about to get very awkward. Instigated the pettiest altercation we're ever going to see

The reality of the matter at big clubs these days is that if the manager is successful, players are not bigger than him. If he's a failure, they are. Anyone who thinks we'll be any different is wrong.

Yeah I guess you’re right. Times have changed quite a lot, especially this last few years.

Apparently we were ahead during the video.. But I don’t know when it was uploaded. I read some speculation of poor 4g and wifi at OT might be why it was uploaded after the game finished, but that is some far fetched theory

It's really not far fetched. You can't get 4g during the game. I've messaged friends on whatsapp and it hasn't gone through until much later.

Maybe if it's working for other teams and not for us, maybe, I mean maybe we have other problems the other clubs don't have...

Like?
Everyone seems to want to think we are this special entity. We are not we are one of many big football club's around the world owned by foreign investors and who are looking for a manager to take us back to former glory. There's must be at least 20 clubs in the world on the biggest stage in our position. We try and try until it happens.

Other teams seem to sack managers continuously and keep the success level going on without much work.

We're changing managers and are exactly at the same spot as we had been 6 year ago.

So It's not illogical to think we may have other problems not present at other clubs. Otherwise it would have been a success.

I mean the other clubs like Chelsea and Madrid are not even trying. Most of their managers have been success. Why ? Because they have a certain core for the team, a certain strategy already put and just need good coaching.

Have you tried using your mobile data at OT? Always been nearby impossible for me, but maybe Pog would have access to some decent WIFI so who knows.

I know, but I would think the players and staff had access to some proper wifi.. but maybe not.
Anyway, agree with those that say it's really fecked up by Mourinho to deal with this on the training ground when there's cameras filming. It must be because he's trying to save his own skin.

Nothing revelatory about this next bit of my post... But football has become a bloody joke. Surely others in here who are middle aged like me remember when the focus was on the match, the result and a few minutes Monday morning chatting with co-workers about the weekend's game. We now have 24/7 coverage about who has fallen out with who, who has posted what on Instagram and what colour boots so and so is going to wear. It's all getting too much surely?

Agreed, but I would say it's up to each and every one how much of this they want to indulge in.
Take my dad for example, he just watches the games and gets on with it. Of course, he will read some stories in the papers etc, but never the type of things we're discussing on here.
Basically it's not football that's changed it's the world, and the players are a new generation. SAF was a master of adapting his leadership. Looks like José is pretty bad at it.
Edit: The fact SAF 'fell out' with Pogba as well makes this incident a bad example.

Both should man up. And have some words like two grown men caring for the team ffs. Seriously they discussing about social fecking media. Jesus.

I wasn't being serious ffs.

Sorry, but I think Pogba is acting like an idiot here.

Making a point of shaking everyone but Mourinho's hand.

Mourinho is probably just telling him to grow up.
No offence mate but you’re the only idiot here. Does Pogba extend his hand to an imaginary man then after shaking Carrick’s hand? Puts his hand out twice and there is only Mourinho and another person there.

Jesus all these drama over nothing. I just want the season to be over. Is it weird ?
