Mourinho tells Paul Pogba he'll never captain Manchester United again

Think they both need to go. Pogba is too big for his boots with no justification and Jose is poisonous and is getting worse with age. Maybe because his tactics do not work any longer and other managers are out thinking him.

And mourinho has?? Pogba is delivering the exact message we all want him to, directly to the manager we're all tired of. Sick of seeing all the B.S. directed at Pogba. I'm happy with everything he's said (not every performance). Maybe Woodward and hopefully the owners will finally take notice to see this squad is a house of cards and the few bonafide stars we have in it are about to leave and let it crumble.

This is my point exactly. Roy Keane deserved an opinion. Bryan Robson deserved an opinion. Peter schmeichel deserved an opinion. Wayne Rooney even deserved an opinion. Paul Pogba? What does he deserve? What has he given to deserve anything?

Waiting for the headline' Woodward Tells Mourinho he'll Never Manage Machester United Again'.

MR MOURINHO!!!

YOUUUUU'RE FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRREEEEDDD

He's not a complete non entity though is he? Let's get real here. He's our star player besides De Gea. He's just won the world cup.

HAHA. So who on this team deserves an opinion then - in your opinion? What a joke of a statement. Pogba delivers the message all supporters wish they could deliver and all the Top Reds tell him to get lost cuz they'd still rather have a bunch of yes men bring their lunch pails to work for the miserable twat living in the hotel penthouse still.

Difference between old school and new school I guess. See where Jose's old school approach lands him next.

Apparently the guy Jose called over is the press officer . That would suggest to me Jose was getting at Pogba for something he said to the press

We can speculate all we like but what does Woodie think of all this? Why has he let it go so far? What is he doing to contain it? Shouldn't he be sending a rocket up both their orifices? Is the tail wagging the dog? Is he also part of the problem? Just what the feck is going on in this mess of a once beautiful club?

Won't be a surprise if everyone pulled out their guns and went full battlefield when the cameras went away.
Nah, feckers lack character for a proper fight. Lingard would probably post everything on Instagram while screaming like a little girl.

Yeah just picked it too

Saw the first time Rash skipping to extend his hand to Perreira and thought maybe he just missed him then Perreira tried to shake Rashford's hand and the latter was having none of it
It's a civil war I'm telling you. They must have had a fall out over a piece of cake or something.

Thought they shook hands although it didn't look like Pereira was too happy with Jose either .

It is a huge circus now and it is only going to get worse with incidents like this . You can be sure the media will not let this go .

Ideally I'd get rid of both but if it was a choice of one then Jose has to go for me
Historically there's only one winner in cases like this. Especially when the player is popular among his teammates like Pogba is. A shame really, but I'm getting tired of both of them.

I think the issue is with Pogba and Perreira leaving early. The guy with the ponytail is asked by Jose about leaving Pogba home, could be a driver????

Usually I’d agree but in this case Pogba hasn’t shown anywhere near the quality, loyalty or commitment that I’d need to see before backing a player over a manager.

I agree, but i just think Jose isn't only messing with Pogba, he's stinking the place out.

Besides, i dont want to sell Pogba on the cheap. If someone offers £120m for him, they can have him.

Checklist:
Back the manager
Get someone competent in charge of the transfers.
Tell Pogba to do one.

Hello, I only just signed up so can't post but I've got decent headphones which meant I can hear a bit more of the conversation in the Sky Sports vid. It seems like they're talking about an Instagram post by Pogba, Mourinho can be heard reprimanding him "one thing is to record them[...]". Mourinho calls in one of the coaches and asks about "that thing that Paul posted on Instagram". You can see Pogba pointing towards other players - possibly Luke Shaw/Andreas Pereira who were in Paul's Instagram story yesterday. You might want to share this in the forum because I don't think members have clocked onto this.

I've given it another listen and right at the start Pogba is saying "it was before the game"
Cheers, Ryan.

Thank you @Ryan_

When you put it like that, maybe.

But £££ played a big part too.

Raiola will advise Pogba it's in his best interests to move on, so he will.

Next stop Barcelona.
Interesting that you can spot what a bad egg/mercenary Pogba is and how detrimental he is to team spirit etc, but you expect one of the biggest teams in world football to shell out what might be a record fee for him. I'm surprised none of the big teams have snapped you up in some kind of recruitment capacity.

By the way, those calling for the OP to be banned owe him an apology. There's no need to be banning people for posting things in good faith. If a thread is pointless, the admins will delete it.

As far as I can tell the only person inside the team that really knows what United mean is Mourinho. Football style beside, the most important thing for all players of this club is to know what United is all about. And that is about trophies, domination, the fortress that OT was, serial winner mentality and things like that, that Paulie can't get his head around.

Paulie with his pizza guy have a personal agenda that goes against our club. They just want more money for a new pizzeria in Amsterdam or some shit like that. That fat bastard

Even at SAF years no-one was above the club either your name was RVN, CR , Beckham or Rooney.

If it was on me Paulie would be playing with the reserves until winter transfer period. After that he can take Alexis and whoever else is in the same state of mind and feck off to Barca or Real I don't give a shit.

Fellaini is one of my most hated players since ever. But I'd rather play with someone like him who gives a feck about winning than someone that cares only for his image/statistics/vain shit.
LOL this is such a bad post on so many levels. The only thing Mourinho cares about is himself. If he actually cared about United, he should probably start coaching the team instead of moaning all the time. And Paulie the pizza guy is the fecking world cup winner.

It would be interesting to know what was said. Could be nothing; could be indicative of a relationship which has completely broken down. There certainly seems to be issues in the squad.
There’s an extended video doing the rounds where you can make out Mourinho saying “Paul, get out” about 30 seconds in when Pogba looks at him incredulously and starts pointing in different directions.

Waiting for the headline' Woodward Tells Mourinho he'll Never Manage Machester United Again'.

and Im waiting for the Glazers to tell Woodward he shouldnt be managing any footballing matters at MUFC again...but we all know that'll never happen.

Not sure what point youre making here.

On topic i am 100% against players publicly criticising tactics. You let that go on and youre done. Cant understand any justification for a player being as media involved as pogba is regarding his own narrative. Its incredible
Let's come back to topic. I understand that players should not keep running to the media but when your own manager does this shit when things got tough for him, what'd you expect the players to do? Mourinho belittled Pogba's performance in the world cup again when there was no need of it, can't you see that Mourinho started this? If Mourinho had actually done his job, none of this would be happening.

And what justification do you give for Mourinho using the press to save his hide as often as possible?

So in the end management will have to take the side, Pogba or Jose?

This should be interesting.

Obviously it was with the national team, but can you confirm it was his attitude and not a tactical problem? Pogba is not someone who has shown attitude issues throughout his career.
It was a bit of both in my memories. Deschamps said that Pogba needs to up his level, because he believes he can do it.
Also there is an article that says that the coaching staff of Deschamps wanted players to simplify their games, like Mbappe, and Pogba. And to not humiliate opposing players so that they are not tempted to come and make them regret it, etc... Pogba had individual interviews to help him. The hair from Pogba is one thing that apparently he decided to change and not because of Jose, but the reason mentioned was because he wanted to be in "combat mode". However, other things had to change according to Deschamps. He explained to him that his performance in his club is the past, but that for the national team, he had to erase anything that is superfluous, stop touching the ball 5 times before giving it, simplify his game as much as possible. And Deschamps believed that if Pogba listened to him, he would be rewarded.

This is how they won the world cup. You don't think Jose is asking for exactly the same thing to Pogba? I'm a big lover of Pogba but you cannot say those things to the media and expect to stay in a club like Manchester United. He needs to openly apologize to the whole team to even have a chance to come back in the squad. No other option.

Can definitely hear Mourinho say 'Paul get out' at the end of the clip.

Yeah Pogba is too big for his boots for expecting his team to actually play half decent football.

You're the one who has such a bad post. Mourinho is of the same caliber to Sir Alex when it comes to the club and understanding it. Pogba needed Deschamps to tell him so many things, and he fecking applied them during a World Cup, but has decided that for Manchester United, he would not. Being a fecking world cup winner means feck nothing.

Absolutely pathetic that you are comparing fecking Mourinho to Sir Alex Ferguson. Mourinho is not good enough to clean SAF's boots.

Yes Deschamps tells Pogba so many things, because he is a coach who has a clue. Mourinho on the other hand has been absolutely useless for two years now.

Hypothetically if we agree that Pogba is downing tools for Mourinho, what's the excuse for Sanchez, Matic, Lukaku, Mata, Lingard, Rashford etc? Why are they all so shite most games? Are they not applying what Mourinho "tells" them too?

what was the instagram referred to? Saw his instagrams yesterday don’t think they were out of the ordinary. Mou just being an ass. He couldn’t resist giving Pogba a dig in front of everyone? This is just farcical. Getting so sick of this.

Damn... really?

I just hope this boils over one way or the other. Let’s have a resolution. I mean I can almost bear us being in a down cycle but can’t stand being laughed at by other teams over this BS. It’s worse than Balotteli/Mancini.

Whose bright idea it was to let the press film us train a day after loaing to Derby and with the whole Pogba Jose drama?
Christ...

Probably Woodward. I heard he's looking for an official club Doughnut sponser. We might be getting a deal with Krispy Kremes soon fingers crossed.

A hilariously bad post.
