Stability at last. Looking forward to him breaking Pep again.
I have no problem with the fact he is staying in a hotel as opposed to a home in Cheshire or even a city centre apartment ala Pep.
It was just a light hearted comment mate. I think we will be able to move on.
What have I missed?
What have I missed?
Serious question what will Jose do after 2020 because I can't see him staying longer than that? He will 56/57 by the time the contract ends and that's still a very young age for a manager. He's a long way away from retirement so where will he go? PSG, Portugal national team, or somewhere else?
When they say an option for a further year, who exactly is that option for?
Bet he's a really nice guy to hang with.Woody always looks super happy.
I'm not sure how to feel about this.
I'm not one of those #MourinhoOut crazies, and it's obvious he's the best manager we've had since Ferguson.
Sure, he'll get us results and win trophies - but at the risk of sounding like a right top.red, that's not why I support United. What got me into the club was the magic of our attacking football, something we don't always see under Jose and the oft-defensive style of approaching big games is tangibly different to what I'd hope to see a United team play like.
Still though, I think we need the stability right now and it's good the rumours of him leaving for PSG have well and truly been laid to rest.
Imagine thatI can't help but be disappointed. We'd have nearly been five years into Moyes six year plan by now, better times
I hope we're not aiming for sixth place and the "we beat Leicester City in August" trophy again. We're making progress this season but let's not view last season as any sort of standard.“We have set very high standards - winning three trophies in one season - but those are the standards I expect my teams to aim for."
Everybody's happy
Well, almost.
What? You're basing last seasons success on a game we played in August and finishing 6th? No one said anything about finishing 6th as being a standard, in fact, he explicitly says "winning three trophies" was the standard so I don't know why you've even brought it up.I hope we're not aiming for sixth place and the "we beat Leicester City in August" trophy again. My dad sat next to him in the directors box when we beat Arsenal last month. He said he was a really nice bloke and knew everything about United. Made my dads day when he grabbed his arm celebrating as the whole directors box was full of Arsenal fans obviouslyBet he's a really nice guy to hang with.
Agreed DDG must be next then we can say perfection!Good news, now DDG pls
Can I hang with your dad? Please?!My dad sat next to him in the directors box when we beat Arsenal last month. He said he was a really nice bloke and knew everything about United. Made my dads day when he grabbed his arm celebrating as the whole directors box was full of Arsenal fans obviously
I think he mean to say "we must get min three trophies each season" that will be amazing..I hope we're not aiming for sixth place and the "we beat Leicester City in August" trophy again. We're making progress this season but let's not view last season as any sort of standard.
Look, my point is, we finished sixth, we won the fecking League Cup and unconvincingly snuck past giants like Anderlecht and Celta Vigo, playing shite and, against Celta, hanging on for dear life at Old Trafford. What? If you'd have been offered three (minor) trophies and Champions League football, whatever the league finish, last season, you'd have bitten someone's hand off.
