I tell you, he will be here long after Pep has left for his next "challenge."
Sabbatical you mean

I'm not sure how to feel about this.
I'm not one of those #MourinhoOut crazies, and it's obvious he's the best manager we've had since Ferguson.
Sure, he'll get us results and win trophies - but at the risk of sounding like a right top.red, that's not why I support United. What got me into the club was the magic of our attacking football, something we don't always see under Jose and the oft-defensive style of approaching big games is tangibly different to what I'd hope to see a United team play like.
Still though, I think we need the stability right now and it's good the rumours of him leaving for PSG have well and truly been laid to rest.
Not really. Option of the third year means if sacked before then he'll get a payoff for two seasons at most.I'm awaiting someone to complain saying this only means he'll get a big pay off when he has his traditional meltdown and gets sacked
At this rate he is going to break the record for the longest stay at the Lowry.
Bet the Manager of The Lowry is made up.
So it'll only cost him half of our new #7's weekly wages for the remainder of his stay? Bargain.
Money Utd
This happened only at Chelsea really. And looking at their managers list since Abramovich took over, he did well to survive as long as he didHe has done a solid job so far so it's not undeserved, still a bit worried about the upcoming third year where things never got better for his teams, hope it won't be the case here.
I think there's going to be a huge signing. Perhaps Griezmann or an absolutely top drawer midfielder. I'd love to know what Jose is thinking.this is very good news..
I'm very excited now! hopefully there will be surprise signings in the summer too.
Yes, I agreeWhen i worked abroad 50 percent of my salary is spent on housing.
250k for a year at lowry is a good deal. That's like 2 weeks of mourinho's salary for a housing with 5 star room service. I can live with that. If he bought a house he'd spent that money for maintenance and upkeeping alone, not to mention having to instal securities and probably hire a few helper, and going out for meals
Pay dayI think there's going to be a huge signing. Perhaps Griezmann or an absolutely top drawer midfielder. I'd love to know what Jose is thinking.
The point about signing players is great. They know who the manager is going to be. Players looking at say Chelsea, now have no idea as I cannot see Conte being there. Great security for the club. That ends all the PSG speculation then. It's a good move, it allows Jose to think more long-term and the players know they will have him as a manager for a while more, which gives him more control I reckon.
Here's hoping it all works out in the end
No dramatic video unveiling? Not impressed 3/10
So what does this actually change? Other than, presumably, give him a nice little bump in his salary.
Can we really just move on from this, seriously. It's getting boring! He's addressed it like a hundred times and it just appears to be an issue to everyone apart from the ones who really matter.
Really happy he's staying. Hope he stays for at least 10 years. Great news!
