I hope the fact that he didn't mention any Arsenal interest at all in relation to Schneiderlin let alone a bid, just United, puts to rest the rumours that they're back in for him, given how open he's been about everything else.
I think Schneiderlin directly addresses our problems in midfield more than Schweinsteiger anyway. Schweinsteiger is undoubtedly the better player but I'd prefer Schneiderlin if it was a choice between the two.
I reckon we started about £10m apart in valuation - us offering £20m and them wanting £30m. We will end up somewhere in the middle or just above, including add ons
