Why on earth should he remain goal side of a player in a situation like that??? There was no danger there at all. If Veron hadn't been fannying about, there would have not been any danger whatsoever.
But even if Blanc was to blame for that particular goal, he's been outstanding throughout the season, after a few weeks' settling in period. So taken that into consideration, even you must be able to say he has been value to money - which you questioned..
