With the prices they're charging for their players I'd say his dream for playing for United would be heavily reduced should he take that route.

It seems like that's the case. Unfortunately, I only found out about them today via Sport Witness (they've deleted their Tweet associated with the article covering that quote though the original article is still up on their site).
