Hopefully that's the last time we'll see him play for Liverpool in the CL. Not that he's done much.

He was great for them the first season he joined. Scored home and away against City in 17/18 in the quarter-finals when they got 100 points in the PL. Then scored the first two goals against Roma in the semi-final to set them up for victory. That’s partly why the Ramos tackle was so controversial, because he was in unbelievable form going into that final.I’m trying to think about his big game performances in the CL and really drawing a blank at the moment. And not in a ‘haha see he suck’s’ kinda way. But legit can’t recall big game performances from him in the CL. Not really his tournament.
fecking loves a dive doesn’t he
Don’t think Ramadan and fasting all day with no water helps players like Salah - he must be shattered playing like that.looked absolutely jaded for the last couple of weeks. think Slot needed to rest him against Southampton at least.
Lamine Yamal is a better player. I said what I said. I don't care what numbers anyone throws at me.
How is that not a yellow for Salah?Nice dive too. Clutching his face as he goes down from no contact.
I would have loved Mendes at United - can see why there were rumours of us wanting him. He would be mad to go though, but an absolutely brilliant fullback. Amazing defensively, extremely fast, good one on one and also contributes well in attack. Seems to be technically very good with a good engine. Any real negatives?I have rarely seen Salah get dominated like that by any other LB in both games
Muslim players could eat normally now and observe Ramadan when the season is over. I know it's allowed in special cases.Ramadan came too early for him, there was no reason to play so many 90 minutes games this season, but I guess he likes his statistics too much to not miss any pointless goals.
Not entirely sure it's down to just lack of stamina, because he was never that great in CL, but I am sure he would do better if he was bit smarter with his minutes. This shouldn't have been his tenth 90 minute game in just 40 days.
He can kiss the Ballon d'or goodbye if Barca or Real win the CL. You need to show up in these type of games. I haven't watched this one but he was horrible and even borderline unprofessional in the first leg.

How do they even play when games are in the afternoon? The heart rate of a fasting athlete must be considerably higher than it usually is.
Completely uninvolved in both legs.
A better performance as he was more involved, but he had many stray balls that didn't find a teammate. He lost the ball 31 times, according to the stats. It was very much a Bruno-like performance from a wide position.Nah, first match, he mostly had a plain bad match...this second leg? he was quite better, even if he indeed wasn't in his best form. He could assist if his mated didn't let him down and he could have end better some of his best plays

Since then, big performances in the CL knockouts have been rare.
It's crazy how he apparently deserves the balon dor for scoring a bunch in the premier league whilst probably winning it.
Haaland broke the premier league goals record, won the european golden boot and won the treble and didn't even win the balon dor.
