MLB 2016

Dodger pen is a fecking joke.....bunch of average cnuts with no fecking killer instinct.....fecking bottlers.

And my point proved once again...that fat feck Joe Blanton just piped a pitch down the middle to a pitch hitter with tan 0-2 count, the bases loaded, two outs, and with the game tied in which he deservedly got lit up for a grand slam.....DODGER BULLPEN GO feck YOURSELF....CLEAN HOUSE, GET THOSE feckING MUPPETS OUT OF THERE!

He's given up 3 massive HRs, 7 RBI...all on crap, hanging sliders and one curveball.

He shouldn't throw another pitch in this series....I think it's pretty much done...Kershaw may steal game 6 to force 7 but the Cubbies bats are alive and without a bullpen, we are finished.

Let's smash Greaton too, for the sake of it. In typical Cubs style, prob blow up in game 7 if Kershaw throws a blinder to win game 6.

Happy for Hendricks, he used to pitch for my local minor league team.

Wow, did anyone see the amount of fans outside the stadium? Marlins guy is there again I see

Wow, I'm almost in tears watching this and I'm not even a Cubs fan. Fantastic

Could never claim to be a huge baseball fan but between the ESPN 30for30 and ROTY I always have checked semi regularly on Chicago. Fair play to them, finally.

i can't make my mind up if i want the Cubs to win or not, i mean it would be a historical moment if they did...... but the Cubs not winning in so long is part of baseball it wouldn't feel right having them as defending champions.

Watching the Indians at home looks weird when don't see any fans behind home plate .

Cubs fans have stood by their team for decades, Indians fans show up when it's fashionable or the club is contending. Typical fair-weather fandom.

I'm pulling for the Cubs. Boston ended their curse, time for the Cubs.

It's absolutely ridiculous Chicago doesn't have homefield but we can thank Selig's ego and idiocy for that.

Chicago is going to be booming this weekend, and you can get there for £400.....I am so tempted. I'm no die hard, but been there since the Channel 5 days of Sosa!

God, that commercial.

Before the All-star game rule, it was alternated between the two leagues. Would have to go back and see if we would be on an AL or NL year under the old rules.

But the whole All-star game thing is incredibly stupid, it's a freaking exhibition game.

Also time to either so away with the DH completely or make the NL adopt it.

I was once for the elimination of the DH but these days I have no desire to watch pitchers bat when it's practically a guaranteed out in most scenarios. I say DH for both leagues.

Prior to the 94 strike, the AL hosted in odd years, the NL in even years. With the strike this would be the AL year to host had the initial rule held true. If MLB was going to change the rule it should have been in favor of the club with the better record.

There's definitely a special vibe in the City right now. Most people I know are watching the games. People who don't follow or know anything about the game. The Cubs losing streak has just become part of the Chicago culture, folklore and identity.

We had a couple of tickets at work for the Friday game. Sold them for $24k.

Only if they win in legendary fashion like the Red Sox. A great curse needs great magic to break it.

Been at Wrigleyville 6 hours before the game and the place was buzzing way more than Old Trafford before a CL game. Gotta admit I wasn't into Baseball at all but after learning more about the game I'm totally on the bandwagon now.

Of course it would be more buzzing than a CL game at Old Trafford, ones pretty regular....one hasn't happened for generations.

The cubbies goose is cooked I think, for this year at least.
