Not sure if I see the point of keeping McTominay, Mitchell and Riley at the club and not sending them out on loan.
Isn't there still time to loan them out to lower league teams?
I expect McTominay to stay with Andreas leaving on loan.

Really? When did that happen?
That's so stupid.

Trust UEFA to meddle in stuff there is no need to
Last year or the year before that. It was a good system which benefits both Premier League and football league clubs.

I didn't think that Butt will be in charge of the team. Surely McKenna would do a better job.

And are Baars and Traore too young to be called up?

I would think given that the side is to be made up of players who are involved in both the U-18 and U-23 set ups, it would be best of neither McKenna or Sbragia were involved directly as they still have work to be on with as it pertains to those groups.

Baars is in the squad. Players can be added to the squad at any time after the first match day so Traore will probably added when he gets his clearance. He's been injured so probably wouldn't have been fit for the first match anyway

I'm excited to see Puigmal play for us. He comes with a huge rep.

Feel bad for Williams playing at the younger age group when he may have expected to be knocking on door of seniors this season/next - horrible what injuries can do but hope to see him back at his best, and Gribbin.

Would be great if we see some of these lads come through in next 2-3 years...

Puigmal and Traore are coming with a ridiculous hype really. Traore is even more highly rated than Puigmal IIRC.

Last year O'Connor and Burkart came with this hype and O'Connor is certainly proving that.

Largie is also a very good talent (somehow I can't remember his last name).

This is only based off youtube but Traore seems to be much more reliant on his strength and pace. Puigmal wins MIC player of the tournaments and was the biggest reason as to why Espanyol beat Barca in the Spanish version of the FAYC final. He's kind of like a deeper lying version of Isco

That Charlton kid? Good to hear.

Ofcourse I'm also going by the twitter hype and nothing else.

I think all the names you listed have a good chance of being, at least, squad members for years to come and with some of the younger talent below these guys too it's an exciting time for the academy. Just have to hope they get the opportunities.

I'd say that O'Connor and Gomes are the only ones with a good chance to make it at United. The others have a chance. I'd put Grbiin up with Gomes and O'Connor if he can put his mind to it and stay fit.

O'Connor is coming up at the right time. I am just hoping Jose see him as an ideal back up to Valencia next season and slowly integrate him to the squad.

Axel T is in a difficult situation as of now . I rate him as the best out of the bunch and can see us selling Smalling and Rojo to make space for Axel and even Williams. Obviously that depends on John's fitness. Jhon's , Baily , Smalling/Rojo, Axel , Lindelof (not convinced ) and Blind is good enough for me .

Pereira's is another difficult one . But the loan offer from Valencia was too good to turn down I imagine . Next summer I'm expecting Carrick, Fellaini , Young and Mata to be sold , so he could get his chance finally. The lad will be damn good CM by 25 for sure ( I dont see him as an attacking mid ) , he will slowly replace Herrera in the squad in a few years time.

We have so many gems coming up . If we are careful then we can have at least 3-5 first team quality from this batch.

What would our strongest U18 side for the youth cup look like at the moment ?

Assuming everyone eligible plays.

Forcijek
Tanner/Laird - O'Connor - Garner - Williams
Puigmal - Traore/Galbraith
Barlow - Gomes - Chong
Burkart

Ok thanks.

That should be a pretty strong lineup if everyone is fit and firing except the fullbacks. And haven't seen.much of garner.

We don't seem.to have specialist fullbacks at all I. The younger age groups.
