Miscellaneous Reserve/Youth News

Lucas Gomes has signed for FC Porto. Last I heard, Rines Arifi has had another trial at United but don't know if it's any progress. He still plays U16 football in Sweden which isn't promising although he scored four goals in their last game.
From what I heard Arifi was decent & a good striker of the ball but was very raw

@jb8521 any update on the squads of U18 and U23 which has gone to Austria? The club is a fecking disgrace when it comes to youth coverage. They still haven't given out a notification of the scholars this season.

I would presume all u23 & u18s who haven't gone with the first team have gone along with the 2 u16s lads

Have the 23's & 18's been playing friendlies or have they just had the Austria camp games so far?

@Rozay Yes.

Very very highly rated, if not for Cherki there'd be a lot more talks about him.
Attacking midfielder who used to play striker when he was younger, really great technical ability and and a goalthreat, he reminds me of Aouar but with some dribbling quality being replaced by a better shooting ability.

He's probably one of the biggest prospect at OL Academy right now, some would even say he's the 2nd best 2003 born player in the country even ahead of Mejbri.

It's noticeable that he is the only 2003 player alongside Cherki to be allowed to play in the U19 age class (2000 generation) and Da Silva even started some of these games.

Sounds promising. Any news going around about what is happening with Mejbri?

Florent da Silva is indeed an exciting player. He stood out in the games I watched, just behind Cherki. Very technical player who can also drive with the ball.

United U15/16 Supercup team just got battered by Burnley 5-1 in a warm up game.

Live on BBC if anyone wants to watch.

4-0 Full Time. Some good football played and Rangers never really in it.

Good goals, I enjoyed that Bernard one actually!

Other than Laird, Williams and Traore - who I have seen a bit of - who would be biggest prospect in tonight’s side?
