According to Belgian media, Roma midfielder Pjanic is set to move to Manchester. According to the article both United and City are interested to sign him. Supposedly 2 weeks ago United offered 25 million euros which was rejected by his current club, AS Roma.

He only signed for Roma last August on a 4 year contract. Another load of bullshit!
 
He's been spotted outside Stamford Bridge. Pjanic on the streets of London.
 
Pjanic has been on the streets of Carlisle, Dublin, Dundee, Humberside.

He's really checking these islands out.
 
There is something in a Pjanic and Hazard that has the makings of a great pun.

He hasnt really progressed all that much since he moved to Lyon all those years back, because for some reason they persisted on starting gourcuff. It's good that he went to Roma but I think he needs more time there, he's not ready for a team like united or city IMO. And unless he changes, he's definitely not suited for the premier league, hes too soft and gets pushed off the ball really easily. He's a good young player with potential but I think he'd be more suited to serie a or Spanish league.
 


I'm not sure if it was lucky or not, but I know he has great shot and is excellent at free kicks, so it could be intentional.

And after the goal comes up Bosnian speciality, swearing Zeman's mother. :lol:
 
I don't think he meant it, tbh. He seems to be aiming at the far post.
 
Nah he did mean that as he wouldn't have struck the bottom of the ball in that fashion if he was aiming for the far post. I believe that technique is sometimes refered to as dead leaf the idea is to make the ball rise quite slowly and then dip really fast.
 
According to German sources, Pjanic is close to joining Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth around 12m Euros.

I'd be stunned if Roma were to even entertain the idea of letting him go for double that amount. 12m euros would be insane.
 
Marca and Sport both say Barca are after him and likely to now sign him. Looked like he was going to be a world beater a few years ago. Never quite hit the heights one thought he might. Been ok for Roma from the limited amount I've seen him. Anyone watched him a lot this season?

Would love it if we signed him. He's been one of Roma's standout players this season, 23 years old, one of the best free kick takers in the world right now probably as well. Great passer and very creative.
Only question would be if he'd be strong enough physically to make it in the premier league, but considering how good he is technically, I think he'd be fine.
 
His contract is up in 2015, he could well stay there because Roma are performing at the moment. I hope the lure of playing here will be enough to get him. I think he's a United fan.

Nice story, but Roma are top of the league. I very much doubt United are thinking of him for January.
 
Shocked that he's only 23. Thought he was about 26 or so.

If his contract is up in 2015 then he could well move on in the summer if a good offer comes in. He's a quality player.
 
Been one of my favourite players for a long time now. 'Discovered' him in 2008 on FM and he was such a hero for me that I've followed his career ever since. Was very surprised when Lyon bought Gourcouf (what's happened to him anyway?) instead of giving Pjanic gametime.

Great passer and amazing freekicks. Not quite sure that he's exactly the type of player that we need right now but I definitely wouldn't say no if we were to go for him!

Yeah his progress definitely stalled a bit at Lyon, because of their managers persistence on playing Gourcuff even though he was shit. He's been much better since he went to Roma. Almost always Bosnia's best performer too.

I never understood it myself. They had Pjanic showing his potential and then go and get a near identical (and probably better player at the time) in Gourcouf. Gourcouf then flopped but as you say he was never dropped to give Pjanic a chance. Very pleased that he's taken his chance to shine now - and looking forward to seeing this Bosnian team in Brazil
