I want to build my house with the secret shower switch to a gigantic working elevator hidden behind the wall that takes you down to my hidden lair while my automatic miners carve out the map underneath the house sorting the materials into separate boxes and burning the scrap so I can then use the mats for bigger and better things.

What do you suggest? Would be ideal if it was updated to include 1.8 stuff too.

Yeah, whats your name? Of the top of my head I added Great_Cnut, blythy, robcro, viskahn, rossi19. All redcafe members welcome.

At very least we can use it to muck around before deciding on a proper mod pack to use on my big daddy server.

I really want a resolution to this Bukkit fiasco so one way or the other I can get a proper new server set up to play on.
 
Is this still running? I tried to connect to the server and got kicked with it saying 'internal exception: io.netty.handler.timeout/readtimeoutexception'
 
It says you logged in, got killed by a zombie and then left/disconnected, all in the space of about a minute.

:lol: Even if I had a normal connection that would've still happened

It happens on every multiplayer server I play on. Not been able to play online for about 3/4 months. I've tried changing firewall settings, played about with the router, forwarded ports, speedtests, reinstalling java, minecraft, drivers, the lot... nothing changes. Most of them I can't log into at all (it freezes at downloading terrain or logs in but I'm just falling into nothing until it timesout with the exception above). Some servers (your one included) I can log in and walk around but no mobs or players are responsive, not many chunks load and I can break blocks but then after 30 seconds or so the above exception happens again. It's annoying.
 
Now I just got kicked with 'java.oi.IOexception: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine'

I presume that's something relating to my router/firewall, which I've messed about with for hours before. WTF

I just logged in again and immediately got this, but clicking respawn does nothing :lol:
 
What's different about your internet than everybody elses? Are you using a shared connection or is it your own personal one?
 
It's used by two other people but nothing has changed since the issue has started. But I have lots of issues with it anyway. I have a feeling if I were to change ISP's or something it would work. Think it's an issue somehow related to my router but just don't know how.
 
Not that old, 6 months or so.
 
My proper public server has updated to 1.8 for anyone who has played on there and wants to again.
