Milan Jovanovic signs pre-contract with Liverpool

Confusion via double-negative. Roadhouse.

If that's the family guy reference then you need to follow it up with one of these..

Thought I'd put this here rather than starting another thread.

Great interview, little bit drunk in it  but nice to see a professional being so humble towards a kid. Can't wait for his first interview in England

So his relationship with the trainer is "something more than friendship"?

Do you have any videos of him where he doesn't come across as somewhat homosexual?

nah, I think he was ok in the 1st match too...he will be a decent signing. Especially with him being a free right? or something very cheap.

I was hearing that now Benitez has left that there was some doubt over this move, I can only guess it was in the commentary for the previous Serbia match....not sure how true that is mind

Mental if players would be attracted to Liverpool purely because Rafa was there - fecking bizarre :wenger::confused:

well not just for the manager, but you cant deny managers would have some level of consideration, when thinking about signing for a club. I guess maybe it is the instability that is worrying him even more.

Will they get a Europa League spot next season.....heheheheheheheheh

In the first game he was truly appalling and rightfully subbed off.

He was good today though.

I just cant believe anyone would want to play under Benitez, unless of course you were this fella:

JOVANOVIC MAY RENEGE ON REDS DEAL

Milan Jovanovic has revealed he could pull out of his move to Liverpool.

The Serbia striker, whose contract at Standard Liege came to an end this summer, signed a pre-contract agreement with Liverpool in February.

However, speculation has been rife that former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez, now at Inter Milan, would attempt to ambush the deal.

And Jovanovic has hinted he could decide to follow Benitez to the San Siro.

"There is an agreement signed with Liverpool, but if either party wants to end it, it's not impossible," said the 29-year-old in quotes reported on Tuttomercatoweb.com.

might still join them, but not a done deal yet
dont rate him so dont think he will be a loss for the dippers .

We were shit in the first game but Jovanovic was far from appalling. His end product wasn't there but thats because our other players weren't moving, he had to just on his own. He made a few good dribbles, definitely wasn't as bad as you are making out.

He's been our best player so far.

Apparently Olympiakos is ready to pay 10m to get him. I'd rather see him at Olympiakos than playing for Liverpool.

P.S. Pogue hates Serbs.

Why would they pay 10m when he is available for a free?

fecking hell. Random dig or what?

FWIW, I don't hate Serbs at all. In fact I don't think I've ever met one. What I have learned, however, is to ignore the opinons of our redcafe Serbs when it comes to Serbian footballers. They're unique in their complete inability to be even vaguely objective about their fellow country-men.

Haha man Im just messing with you.

But listen, there's one issue on which I will forever disagree with you: TOSIC DESERVED BUT WASNT GIVEN A CHANCE! ;)

Bullshit. I have given fair criticisms many times on our players. That's actually a bit of a pisstake that you think we rate every player.

I once said I visited serbia to Pogue and he gave me a chinese burn. Hes out of control

He very often loses the plot completely (see Tosic discussion). But he is still young and willing to learn. Forgive him.

Meh. Was never really impressed with Tosic meself. Tidy wee player but not United quality.

I now know you're just gently taking the piss but I would like to make one last point about my alleged anti-Serbian agenda, specifically regarding my well-documented tantrum when the Ljajic deal went tits up.

Was that the type of behaviour you'd expect from an anti-Serb? Well? Was it? ;)

Tosic was certainly an odd one in that regard - I think he was viewed as too lightweight for England, although I would have given him first team experience before making that judgment myself.

So I've never criticized them? Never said a bad word? Do me a favour.

Show me these posts where I am being OTT btw.

I didn't say you never criticise Serbian players, nor am I accusing you of gushing over every Serbian player ever. This isn't about individual posts where you've been ridiculously OTT about a player, because you don't tend to do that. What you do tend to do is defend Serbian players and praise them so that in the long run you come across as being a bit too pro-Serbian players.

That's not a problem, just means I take what you say about Serbian players with a pinch of salt
