Respect to him for taking on the job to begin with. Looked like a pretty hopeless situation at Arsenal to say the least.
Every good team presses these days, they don't get the rewards Arsenal have in recent weeks. It's luck
I can't call it to be honest. What’s your line up prediction tomorrow?
all change vs 50% change vs best team possible?
in the short term, he has done a decent job.Sorry, when I mean competing that don't include the FA cup. Competitions is also about luck and raising games, and they were always in the mix for them.

problem is in two years, if he is week in, week out depending on Mustafi, Xhaka, Luiz, etc to do their jobs they'll be going nowhere. a decent counterattacking side would go past their midfield effortlessly.
Bayern are probably the current best team in Europe on form (17 wins in a row in all competitions). 1 draw and 1 loss more than Liverpool overall in the league but they've won every CL match and won the cup.On the MOTD Arteta said they beat the two best teams in Europe in their last two games.
In reality City this season aren't close to the best in Europe and Liverpool were beaten home and away by Atletico Madrid.
Didn't Emery had a very long unbeaten streak in his first season? or am I remembering it wrong? He’s done a great job since taking over. There were a lot of doubts about his ability because it’s his first managerial post but he’s done more than Emery in a shorter time and at least we look like we have a plan.
That he did. One of the best new manager bounce there/Didn't Emery had a very long unbeaten streak in his first season? or am I remembering it wrong?
Did a top job beating City in the semi yesterday, when was the last time Arsenal were well organised and able to get results like that?
Just get the impression that he could be quite ruthless and if he is allowed to buy better he will not hesitate. If is the word. They aren't City who can rebuild in bulk. It could be a slow process.in the short term, he has done a decent job.

He's already being pretty vocal about the need for investment. If we manage to get EL through the FA Cup or finishing 6th, that could give a bit more credit from the owners and the higher-ups.Just get the impression that he could be quite ruthless and if he is allowed to buy better he will not hesitate. YepWait, were they the ones Moyes brought to United as well?

Round was Moyes's assistant manager and Stuivenberg was brought by LVG.
Definitely given them much needed structure. If he isn't backed on transfers then I could see him leaving.
Interesting that Arteta drew the line at Wee Jimmy Lumsden though - the true genius behind Moysey.Round was Moyes's assistant manager and Stuivenberg was brought by LVG.

I was trying to remember the name of the other person that Moyes bought with him He was the one that looked like Moyes just picked him up from the pub on the way to Old Trafford right?
Fecking hell, to think we allowed this clown to dismantle a title winning set up and bring these men in. It still gives me nightmares to this day.
There's nothing title winning about Phelan or Meulensteen without Alex Ferguson.
