It was around 80 I think
Ooof, swap for Antony then.
It was around 80 I think
He's release clause will set you back £80M apparently.Would be an obvious target, if he could had for a reasonable fee. Somewhere near £50-60m could be good business. He would instantly improve us.

After seeing Antony again today? I think you're right.Oh. Well, obviously it has to be weighed against the other areas where we need to improve. He might still be worth it.
He is young, English and proven in EPL. 80m is the going rate.Would be an obvious target, if he could had for a reasonable fee. Somewhere near £50-60m could be good business. He would instantly improve us.
Another player Chelsea let get away.

He is French.
He’s English for these purposes. Born in London and spent all his football life in England. Can still also play for England as it stands.
I think he'll be at City by the end of next summer.
How do the Palace fans rate him?
So though I can’t see any info online re what his buyout clause is set at, I’d assume they’ve added 20m on top of that - I reckon somewhere in the £80m region is what someone would expect to pay.
Ended up with Palmer as an alternative though. Not a bad trade-off if you ask me.
Why couldn’t you have both?
Because we are famously very frugal with our spending and £35 million is a lot.
The buyout clause was £35 million according to every report I saw. Then he extended his contract.
Why couldn’t you have both?
I swear Chelsea could have sold an 18 year old Messi for a tenner and the fans would find some logic to it.

Be nice to have both, but that may be regarded as greedy.Ended up with Palmer as an alternative though. Not a bad trade-off if you ask me.
