Michael Keane

I don't think Pique is actually particularly good in the air. Not a strong point at all.

Fair enough, it was a long time ago, I can't say I have a vivid recollection of his thunderous headers.

Of course for Barca he almost never needs to use that trait, so he's hardly been showing off in the air since he left.

Had little to do but looked majestic doing it. That pass with the outside of his boot was amazing.

Classy as always but rather passively let the Hudderfield front men control a few long balls right before his eyes.

In fairness, Alan Lee is like a Championship level Andy Carroll- sometimes its better to let him have the ball and control what he can do with it.
Challenging him will only take you out of position and risk giving a free kick away.

Happened with Vaughan too. Stepped out to challenge for it, then didn't. No biggie, just a bit of inexperience.

Played 90 minutes for Leicester again in a 1-2 home loss to Charlton.

Did Ok, from what i can gather from reactions but probably his weakest game there so far. Slightly struggled in the air and being aggressive, but yeah it seems their midfield played like crap.

Not surprising, hopefully he has a better game than the last. Although at his age you don't expect him to put superb performances in each week, it's how he bounces back from bad games that will define his character.

Evans is a great example, went through a horrid patch and has just come back stronger.

Still growing into his body and needs to strengthen and toughen up. He doesn't do as well against stronger forwards but he'll come good once he physically matures.

Definitely, he's got a lot of time on his side and all the signs are very encouraging.

Had a very good game yesterday against Blackburn, after the last one being slightly below average.

Some Leicester fans saying he was MOTM in the clean sheet too.

Andy Carroll, is the Championship level Andy Carroll.

Yeah, the old one has gotten all bitter. :p

Hopefully we get 2 once Will returns.

too old for U19s - in that weird period between age groups. too soon to join the U21 setup given Dawson and company in front of him, but assume he'll be called up after the Euros to start the next campaign.

edit: or could go to the U20 World Cup :)

Keane Again had a good game in a Leicester defeat according to FoxesTalk. Missed a good chance though apparently to get his 3rd goal there.

Leicester are in bit of a free fall at the moment from being 2nd a few weeks ago, but he's standing out in most games which is a good sign. Really remember him having only 1 below average game.

He had a shaky couple of weeks recently, but today he was a lot of Leicester fans' choice for man of the match and he seems to really be emerging from the shadow of Morgan, who a lot seemed to feel was their star defender until recently. One of very few Leicester players to emerge with any credit from what was a poor defeat for a team chasing automatic promotion.

Not surprising. I dont remember him having too many bad games.

If Will hadnt had his injury, they'd both be ready for premiership loans next season.

With every passing week I'm more confident he'll make it here. He looks to be a great talent and the level of performance he's putting in for a 19 year old is fantastic.

Is that his third goal now? As part of the best defence in the division and getting on the scoresheet, it couldn't have gone much better for him at Leicester really.
