Michael Bradley

Absolutely mind blowing. Some United fans wanting a Toronto FC player. I'm living in the bizzaro world.

He's like a tank out there tonight, dominating a strong Belgian midfield with powerful men like Witsel and Fellaini.

Very viable alternative to Carvalho or Vidal and we might actually have a chance of attracting him.

Dominating? What game are you watching? USA are lucky Belgium have been so wasteful.

I suppose you had to say SOMETHING in your post that was correct.

I can only assume people love transfers more than actually having good players.

The one we should be watching on this USA team is DeAndre Yedlin. He's always impressed me.

Every single time he gets the ball the move breaks down. You start getting excited... then you see him get the ball... Don't want.

I'm certain no one outside of North America rates him as highly as some seem to do on his forum.

Twitter is full of people gushing over him. Cannot understand it. Not even sure he's good enough for PL relegation battlers.

If he's good enough to be a rotation player for Roma and a regular for Borussia Mongchenwhatever and Chievo he's probably good enough for the bottom 5/8, not good enough for United though.

Am I watching a different Bradley? Is there a Bradley out there with hair? Looks far too slow in both movement and playing the pass to be anything more than an MLS player. When the USA had the momentum at the end he was trying his best with Jones to crush it. Laughable that he could be considered for a Premier League team.

Laughable that someone wants us to sign him.

Not good enough for United but thought he was superb tonight and for most of the WC. Incredible stamina and while he's not the most gifted with the ball he's decent at making space for himself and retaining the ball.

He's not that bad on the ball. He's not as good a player as Fellaini, but he still shows more midfield qualities and intelligence. Though Fellaini's almost certainly not good enough either.

He's like a poor man's Mark Noble. The sort of player who joins the newly promoted Premier League team, looks pretty rubbish, gets replaced in the side by some other free transfer in January, and leaves on a free in the summer.

He used to be gifted enough to be a squad player here given hard-work and top coaching he would have received in his younger days (06-08) but that ship has long sailed.

If you were an agent trying to move on a player that would be the moment the manager would laugh hysterically and hang up the phone.
He's better on the ball than Fellaini. Smoother (not hard) and can actually move with the ball. But Fellaini at least offers a 'goal threat', and the occasional imposing performance....

Actually I'm struggling to see what Fellaini is better at, other than his 'goal threat'.

chest.

It is possible for a player to have a very good game of football (and Bradley was very good tonight - especially in that second period of extra time where he was excellent) and still not be good enough to play for us.

Crazy I know...

His energy, stamina and strength is very impressive. I'm looking forward to watching him with Toronto FC for the rest of the summer.

Dear god. I fully understand saying he isn't good enough for United (although I'm not sure anyone has said he is) but laughable to be considered for any Premier League team? feck me you are clueless.

I don't know why people are talking about his spell at Villa to show he is shit either. Most Villa fans I know would gladly take him now. McLeish turning him down doesn't mean much either as he played Heskey as a LM and is about 10 times the idiot Moyes is.

It's laughable that a team full of premiere league players couldnt win a match

He seems to have a good set of technical ability and football intelligence but it all just seems so blunt for him. Had he spent his developing years with proper coaching, he'd be one hell of a midfielder. It's sad to see potential wasted like that.
