The ultracrepidarianism on display just because this steaming pile of arseholes was made by FFC, is fascinating. It’s mental gymnastics to try and mine meaning and art from a film, just because it is made by a legend of the medium. If this had been made by nearly anyone else, it would be written off for what it is; nonsensical garbage. Megalopolis is a truly terrible film. It will create a cult following for the multiple meme worthy moments, and the sheer insanity of trying to connect the talents of the director of the Godfather, to this.
