‘Take that down’: Fox host stumbles after accidentally airing anti-Fox graph
Oops.

Either CNN or MSNBC covered it as well. I saw the graph one of them last night.
I need to find that graphic
"While Fox News was unaware of Sean Hannity's informal relationship with Michael Cohen and was surprised by the announcement in court yesterday, we have reviewed the matter and spoken to Sean and he continues to have our full support," the network said Tuesday afternoon.
Fox turning on him is surprising, and telling
"Cotton Picking" - Not very subtle

That’s actually a very common thing to say in the South... by white and black people.
Yeah that guy didn’t do himself any favors.Yeah true. Its more of an archaic term that was more common in the 70s and before. It was obviously not going to go down well in the Fox debate.
Cotton pickin refers to something being difficult or irritating, not to a person.Well 'nigger' was a very common term in the south until people realised it wasn't acceptable. I'd be horrified if I'd let that slip out without meaning to insult, and apologise. I'm sure that bloke doesn't care.
The expression 'out of your cotton-picking mind' is no longer deemed an acceptable description of a black person in the USA. In April 2018 a white commentator (Brian Davis) said in a broadcast commentary of a basketball game that a black player (Russell Westbrook) was 'out of his cotton-picking mind'. The perceived racist connotations caused an uproar of protest. Davis, while claiming that the remark was unintentional, apologised, describing the comment as insensitive and a lapse of judgement. Davis was suspended from his position with the broadcaster.

I literally said the sentence I put in quotes a few days ago to my wife. I’m not calling the back yard a slave.

I could tell the guy wasn’t southern.Bossie is from Boston so I'm not entirely convinced he didn't know it would rub the other guy the wrong way. If it was Lindsey Graham or Jack Kingston then I would understand it being used in a southern context.
Only a matter of time before Ann Coulter and co tell us that cotton fields were basically just like summer camps. Vile network.
2 weeks for racism
I know words are important, but surely the issue is intent. Did he intend to insult? If you believe its the words over intent, and that intent does not come into it, bit like Suarez on Evra, what do we do with all these rappers and other singers that use very offensive words. They would argue there is no intent. Do we hold them to account? This is why that twitter message with the WOKE was so funny, because to a certain extent it show people looking for something to be outraged at rather than getting on with life. In this case, I am not supporting Bossie, but it does beg the question where is the bar in all this.
