Unsure why people are disgusted that he might choose PSG.

1)Equally good wages
2) Win trophies. Who cares whether the league is competitive.... it's hardly the Kazakh league and we aren't winning a thing for years.
3) CL football for a high profile club

Wages aside,we can't offer this kid anything appealing.
Apparently his dad is a larger man that's why we turned down the opportunity for him a while back . On my visits to Manchester I have enjoyed the Curry Mile ( not sure that's what it's actually called, but we called it that ) so maybe his dad will enjoy that . Donkey Kong

Whys everyone still discussing this, he's signing for us.

How many wrong calls does that twat have to make before people stop posting that bile?

This is literally a non-starter and somehow managed to rack up 225 pages so far

What is wrong with everyone here
Idiots on Reddit. Someone claims that someone booked a private jet from Miami to Amsterdam to London. And since the planet only has 7 billion people, that someone who booked a private jet can obviously be narrowed down to De Ligt.

Also, several "ITK" frauds claim to have info about a personal decision made by De Ligt and a planned announcement by the club. And, of course, the mods encourage the lies because that subreddit is a joke.

We're Manchester fecking United :wenger:

Is that same club that managed to turn a 2-0 deficit in the Champions League around to knock out PSG 3-3 in embarrassing circumstances for them?

Get a grip.

People need to get over that result. It was caused by two huge early errors by PSG. It was a game we weren’t dominant in and rode our luck extremely in. Results like that aren’t sustainable. Especially considering we were clearly second best in the tie.

No they don't. If psg were good enough they should have wiped the floor with us.

I´m a bit worried on de Ligt´s behalf how the 19 years old will handle the sudden and massiv attention, and all the pressure a 100m price tag comes with. After all, maybe a 26 years old Maguire is a safer option.

He already has massive attention. Players like Mbappe, Bernardo Silva have thrived with that pressure. De Ligt looks like a proper leader and can't see him being impacted.

Surprised no one's noticed all these players that are on holiday in the same place. It's almost like some United players and Ajax players organised it together.

Would slot right in at Bayern if Hummels left wouldn't he?

Bayern have said something about how much they'd pay for players but would the 75M Ajax is asking for be in their ballpark? (obv they can pay more but they've taken stances previously that they wouldn't)

As long as two of Sule, Hernandez and Pavard are content to sit the bench. Very doubtful.

Really think it’s Juve or us. Unless City throw a spanner in.

If fatso is not Maguire’s agent, that alone makes him the safer option. We sign de Ligt, we’re doing the same shit we’re doing with Pogba now in 3 years.

I mean it's not just Raiola. Lukaku even fired him and he's being a drama queen about leaving this summer too. Players like to move more often. We shouldn't avoid signing players for that reason or we'll never get better.

Difference between Pogba and Lukaku is Ole doesn’t want Lukaku. Or is on the fence at best. We’ve gotten ourselves into a bit of a catch 22 as of late. Need good players to get better and need to be better to attract good players. My post was more sarcasm than opinion. I’d be de Ligted if we signed de Ligt. :wenger:

Edit: Raiola is still a cnut but we most certainly will have to deal with him again.

A 18 year old Rooney did just fine with an almost British record fee 27m in 2004 which would be around 100m in today's money, Mbappe just went (techincally) for 180m. The fee doesn't really matter at the end of the day.
