So the players want to join us? Even over Arsenal who have been in contact with the players agents etc.
Maybe Agent Yoro is having a word in his ear. Based on their age I'd imagine they know each other from the French youth teams.

What's the logic in this sentence? What if the 19 year old in the scenario was until recently seen as the best striking talent in France in years and the 21 year was in the furthest leftmost bottommost corner of this graph and takes less than a shot per game?

His potential means nothing if it's a loan. All that matters is what we currently get, and that's someone yet to find his playing and not really much better than what we have

All good for a loan as there is near to zero risk, but i don’t really like the idea of developing a player for Bayern and then returning him back six months later
That’s basically how a loan works thought isn’t it. It wouldn’t be so much about us developing a player for Bayern but about us getting a player that can contribute to the rest of our season. And if we’re happy with him then we’d end up buying him anyway.

When you mentioned that he could possibly be used in ‘’the advanced central position on the left is a possibility along with playing alongside a strike partner in a two man striker formation which can easily be tweaked by going with a more convential three man midfield’’. By going with more convential three man midfield in order to fit Tel to the team, that’s basically ruling out Amad as R10. So far, Amorim doesn’t seem to have faith playing Amad as wingback unless if we play against the relegation level teams. Why should we be targeting Quenda, if the aim is to play Amad as right wingback?

And when you mentioned, ‘’if he is utilised as the central attacker on the left with a wingback providing the width, I think that could also suit him because he'd play that role very differently to the other options because he'd attack the channel and get shots off.’’ This is something Garnacho has been utilised in this system, which doesn’t solve our attackers issue.

The way how you described sounds like Tel won’t just comes in and hits the ground running, instead:
  • Tel would need time to adapt (4 months loan deal isn’t plenty of time to learn and develop especially in mid season), so there is risk if he won’t even have the time to adapt to the new league and new environment.
  • Potentially sacrificing some of our talented player just to fit him in.
  • He will provide option as the L10 role, which is another raw talented 19 years old player (1 year younger than Garnacho), but it doesn’t solve the lack of goal in our striker and another weak point you have mentioned ‘’the physicality in midfield’’.
I hope he will play the no 9 role because our current no 9 is bigger issue than our L10. But I don’t know much about Tel, and the way how you described him, it sounds like he will play the L10 role instead. As L10, he would have been more suitable as Garnacho’s replacement if Garnacho leaves.
A coach needs options and the more options he has the more flexible he can be with his tactics. Tweaking the formation when things aren't going well and moving a couple of players will give the coach that flexibility. We just don't have enough options currently in attack and having the opportunity to bring someone in half way through the season is a opportunity and chance that must be taken up with time running out in the current transfer window.

So if things aren't working within the conventional way the coach has setup the team, then it's beneficial to change things up and not be too predictable. I personally would like to see how both Amad and Tel both fare in the half spaces between the opposing CB and fullback. And both players have the ability to take players on and provide a ball carrying threat that is missing with the other options in those positions. Tel is physically more powerful than Garnacho and from what I've seen from him at Bayern, he's more two footed, better aerially and better at winning duels.

And our attacking game as a team is blunt and that isn't just down to the players who are playing in advanced areas of the pitch. When your build up as a team isn't of a high quality with the backline being the primary supply line for progression then you will struggle to impose your game on any high quality outfit hence our best performances this season against the bigger teams have come about when we wait for the game to come to us whilst we remain compact. We just don't spend long enough in the opponent's half and hence our forwards don't have any near as much touches in the opponent's box which is going to hamper our forwards.

The best teams control games by dominating the ball in-possession and dominating the duels out of possession in higher defensive lines which allows them to sacrifice defensive stability for goals. And the key players to make such a proactive attacking approach work is the CBs and deeper midfielders who will be the foundation for the rest of the team to thrive. For me we're two midfielders away from having a very good team and both midfielders should have the attributes to progress the ball at a good level whilst being strong duellers out of possession where compacting the space in a higher defensive line is a must imo. And if the club manage to do that then we'll progress the ball better because not only the backline will contribute towards progressing the ball but the deeper midfielders will also carry a big threat which will make us more dangerous whilst also having the ability to contain/control opposition transitions in a higher defensive line. We can't do this any where close to a good enough standard and if that doesn't change then you go the direct route and bypass the midfield which could also possibly work depending on how effective the wingbacks along with the rest of the attackers are when transitioning quickly.

He's hardly had a fair crack at the whip at Bayern to play himself into form. He's played fewer than 3 90s this entire season and in the pre-Kompany season, he was rattling in more than a goal every two games which is very impressive for an 18 year old playing in top competitions.

As I said before, he's a very talented player, has a good attitude and applies himself and has all the incentives to make a success of his loan spell so in the absence of better alternatives there's absolutely no downside to this loan in my view. And if he does exceed expectations, we have a great prospect for below market price.

I fear we may have to look at the alternative of Nkunku if Bayern decide to make things difficult

I’d probably take him over Nkunku.

Bailey would be disappointing. He’s got some wildly inconsistent stats akin to the guy who we just sent the other way.

Manchester United have become the worlds biggest savior complex team. Everyone who signs here hope to become the one to take us out from the dark ages and earn a state outside Old Trafford

But so far all reports indicate that Bayern are happy when he stays and it is the player who pushed for a move under the right conditions. Spurs apparently can't guarantee those.
That goes counter to everything we know. Bayern have tried to get him out on loan at the beginning of the season, which he didn't want to do, and are now pushing to sell him. His performances have fallen off a cliff in the last 12 months and we should not be spending money on him. He can't help us, we can't help him.

People expecting him to come and somehow change our attack are setting themselves up for disappointment. He's not that good.

This will be a long season rotating kid Tel and not good enough Hojlund with Zirkzee up front. I'd be shocked if we didn't bring anyone in at least on loan. We probably end up with Obi Martin nicking the position for himself anyway because all the options will suck and if we are lucky he might have a similar development like Rashford in his first season.

In the summer we just add experienced Gyokeres and things will look different but really long season ahead. because none of the players in the club will make like Amorim wants, we play with 10 men witht he mentioned players. Tell will likely not help not being a no9.

Will he be cup tied for the EL if he comes or can you play in 2 different UEFA competitions during the same season? I have no idea how this works.
