Match Day section ready for the new season

A new update to the Match Day section has been released and it's now very close to completion, ready for the new season!

It's now fully loaded with Manchester United data, so no more oranje everywhere.

Some of the features are a bit sparse atm (like the match day homepage and player profiles) as there haven't been any games yet, but once the pre-season is well underway there'll be plenty more to see.

As before, if you notice any odd behaviour with any of the Match Day features, please let me know.

Note: The old Match Day forum is now closed and will soon be archived. All match discussions now take place in the Match Day section.

See you bright and early 4am Thursday for the first game against LA Galaxy! ;)
 
This is lovely! It'll be much better having a dedicated section to the match day and leave other points of discussion for other threads. Plus, I like the player rating feature. It's sweet and concise.
 
Tried to predict the score. Noticed it doesn't go above 5.

How often do we score more than 5?

Pre-season maybe more likely, but a high limit invites people to take the piss which happened during the World Cup trial with Holland.

Well that was a test though? I predicted 5-5 to help you test the system out, not to take the piss! I do think it should go above 5, or at least make it "5+"

I'll revisit the limit after a while and see if it is worth extending.

Is the lineup game including pre-season then? Normally it starts on the first league game or the Community Shield if we're involved.

Looks amazing by the way.

Yes, for now it includes pre-season, as do the players stats.

I'll probably filter pre-season games out of the totals when the competitive games start.
 
Great work Niall. Really appreciate the effort all the staff take to make this forum one of the best I've seen.
 
Looking really good, I said it when i first launched for the world cup too. A lot of work has gone into that. It'll be great when the season is up and running and I'm sure there will be a big uptake. I know I'll be using it. Though not at 4am this Thursday...
 
All this forum needs now is a few our own certified ITKs and I think we can be the homepage of all things Manchester United.
