Thankfully you can change how the characters look. Wouldn't be able to get invested in the game with her mental head in every cut-scene.

Miranda was just a non blonde version of Yvonne. I thought that they did a good job there.

The reviews are all over the place with this one it seems. People tend to be overly critical with series installments so think ill still pre-order.

From what I've read they've really tried to combine the RPG elements of the first with the FPS of the second, which of course makes sense given that's what people wanted 3 to be, and it looks like they've succeeded with both of those but it is weaker in terms of plot, dialogue and companions which is arguably the most important aspect of Mass Effect.
I was really looking forward to this as my first Mass Effect game but now looking at the footage this seems to be coming in a bit undercooked, must have had some bad development problems for all these weird glitches and janky animations, like I know mass effect had these things anyway but for it to be so prevalent even before the game is out? The marketing has been a bit odd for a game of this scope, the late release date reveal and even the gameplay reveal was a strange PS4 Pro tech demo with absolutely no context.
The biggest worry for me though seems to be that the writing and story aren't up to scratch either, I mean with glitches and funny animation shit you can still get a good laugh out of it. But a run of the mill unimaginative story with sloppy writing can be a huge turn off.
But stuff like this is gloriously funny;

Monday. It will probably get high scores regardless and then the fallout will happen when people buy it after only seeing the reviews. You just can't trust games reviews any more.
Is fallout 4 that bad? I liked 3 and I've bought 4 for a fourth of its original price. Mistake?
