About 2 years ago I said he'd be playing for West Ham in 6 years time.

A year or so later, I thought I fecked it... but now it feels like he's back on the West Ham trajectory.

Only way this makes sense to me is we're selling Sancho and just keeping Sabitzer because we can't get De Jong and Ten Hag wants to wait a year to sign a #8 or hilariously, try again for De Jong.

Rashford(Garnacho)-----Striker(Weghorst, Martial)---------Antony(Amad, Pellistri)
------------------------------------------Bruno(Mount)----------------------------------------------
------------Eriksen(Sabitzer, Fred)----------Casemiro(DM)---------------------------

we're not any better apart from up front, but we suddenly don't have huge weaknesses if Casemiro or Bruno misses a game.

My wild guess is he ends up at Spurs, who don't have any sort of #10 at all. Or he's right around the club record signing for a club like Leicester (replacing Maddison) or Forest (GibbsWhite-Mount-Johnson behind a striker looks pretty promising) at 40M, unless he wants to go abroad. West Ham could work too, firing Moyes and throwing out Mount and Paqueta in front of a Rice replacement at DM and actually try to play football again.

I think he'd do well at Leipzig, maybe if they sell Dani Olmo for a huge whack of cash they'd buy him.

He's having an underwhelming season at Chelsea and is apparently asking for around 300k a week to sign a new contract. Doesn't strike me as the type of player that ETH would really benefit from signing. I don't think he's ever really worked out what his best position is?

I don't dislike Mount as much as a lot of other people do, but he just isn't the type of player we need to be looking at right now. We need to get a couple of midfielders through the door and neither of them are him. Absolute top priority has to be a deeper midfielder who is press resistant and can use the ball well.

Newcastle/Tottenham level for me.

Mount, Maguire, Maddison and McTom would all be decent buys for either club this summer.

The four M’s

Yeah press resistant midfielder good on the ball and Kane/Osimhen are top priority

Maddison has always intrigued me,honestly think he would flourish here so wouldn't include him in that list at all

He had a quick rise a few years ago but he hasn’t really kicked on since then. He’s a player who we will see at a mid table club in a few months time.

Rated because of his nationality.

If Loserpool try going back to their workhorse midfield three, then I could see Mount doing very well there.

honestly think he's off to liverpool.

I guess he wouldn't be any worse than most of their midfielders and can at least stay fit but if he's asking for £200k a week still then I'd let him hang around on his couch next season

United, Liverpool and Arsenal. Good player but not sure why so popular

I know it's horseshit, but it'll still make me pull the remainder of my hair out.

Don't do this to me - he's one of the worst players i've ever seen

This reporter is meant to be pretty good no?
I don't know, but the giveaway is "£55m" - United will stay in the loan market until the Glazer's are gone.

Hopefully just a new contract ploy. I've loved seeing Chelsea have a player so shite.

Mount and Rice would be the worst signings possible and ensure our mediocrity for the next 7 or 8 years
