They're getting marriedI don’t want him back but the fact they’re back together and now she’s pregnant just doesn’t sit right with me.

So that’s ketchup on her face then? Halloween blood?
Its not just society, its the fact that United have a global brand and reputation to protect, so there is also a financial angle that may lend itself to being more risk averse and simply moving on instead of keeping a player at a time when the manger is looking to rebuild the club's ethos and start winning big trophies again.
It's not a gotcha it's a genuine question on where the line is drawn for some. I can genuinely see a situation where maybe some think the money should go to charity or some other causeI'm not sure this is the gotcha you think it is?
We trained him. We paid his wages. He brought the clubs name into disrepute.
Question For the people that voted NO
.... If we sell him and use the money to further the clubs goals, is that just as bad or nearly as bad as making him play for us again?
Kinda like blood money? Or is it fine to use the money.
You clearly have zero experience nor knowledge of domestic abuse. You're unbelievably ignorant on the subject and shouldn't be discussing itThe facts are, a lot of evidence was thrown out and charges dropped.
There are a lot of twisted individuals out there and these top footballers are worth a shit tonne of money.
Is it possible he caused the damage in the photo's - yes
Is it possible she caused the damage in the photo's - yes
Is it possible the damage is fake - yes (as much as you don't want to believe it)
The police threw the case out as it was all coming across as a bit of a farce. I agree with the law on this one.
Ridiculous question really.
We invested in him since he was x years old. Have paid his wages even while he was out on bail for a year.
The club won’t get much for him but whatever it gets it isn’t blood money. Christ you make it sound like the club owes him something, not the other way around.
No because we're not profiting from his crime, we'll probably lose money that we could have otherwise made considering all the club has invested in him.Question For the people that voted NO

Not black and white for me, there needs to be some meaningful show of contrition and not just words or statements.
He needs to acknowledge that what he did is unacceptable and there are no excuses or mitigating factors, I think he needs to be involved in something publicly that provides support to women who have suffered assault and abuse, this would need to be financial and physical support
he needs to be involved personally
If that happens then maybe redemption can be possible, the Women's team need to be on board with this as well as the men's, otherwise he should be gone
Jesus. Some of those earlier posters claiming the 'No' voters were bastions of morality and the 'Yes' voters were terrible people must be shaking their heads now.The only thing I hope for the guy after listening to the audio is that he gets stage 4 cancer and that it's fecking painful. Some of you sound like you should join him.
That's just great.They're getting married
And you know more than the police and Lawyers??You clearly have zero experience nor knowledge of domestic abuse. You're unbelievably ignorant on the subject and shouldn't be discussing it

Nah, if you're a rapist apologist please abort yourself off the planet ASAP and let me know where your grave will be so I can come piss on it.Jesus. As someone said, it’s posts like these that should keep threads like MG’s locked.
Red flag post in a thread full of themThe facts are, a lot of evidence was thrown out and charges dropped.

Strange questionAnd you know more than the police and Lawyers??
The public has heard him abusing her and are judging him based on that, not on accusations, not on heresay, not on what a lawyer has said or a written report on what he may or may not.hafe done.Maradona’s 2x cases time probably didn’t have mobile phones invented to record audio - doesn’t make him free of charges by the public does it?
If any team has low enough standards to pay decent money for him more fool them. Bonus for us.Question For the people that voted NO

Of course we should use the money if someone is dumb enough to shell out on him.Not sure how you came to that conclusion. Investing in him prior to his allegations has nothing to do with what I asked. I'm talking about should we just actually release him or would selling him for profit bring up a morality issue aswel. You think it's a dumb question cool.... Not sure how it's fine to me making it seem he owes us something
We'll get Hojlund because he'll be a cheaper alternative, pursue an unattainable target all summer, then bring in MG because Tony is a fecking unreliable. Wouldn't surprise me if we also went for this summer's WW.Are we really that desperate?
Using him to play isn't profiting from his crime either... How did we get here...No because we're not profiting from his crime, we'll probably lose money that we could have otherwise made considering all the club has invested in him.
Weird logic
I hate to use an argumentative fallacy but if we were talking about a mediocre player a lot of you wouldn't give him a second chance.
If it were Elanga (chosen because he's a young forward) this poll would look very different
Pretty sure foreign teams will be lining up for him. Probably we csn even get a decent fee if we play our cards rightIf any team has low enough standards to pay decent money for him more fool them. Bonus for us.
Greenwood hasn't served time for what he did. If he did the discussion could be differentI guess all those that have voted ‘no’ also think that prisoners should not be allowed to work when released from prison. In fact… no… all people that have been arrested (and had charges dropped) should have no future either?
