Film Martin Scorsese - Marvel movies are 'not cinema'

Thought I'd leave this here given it all belongs to the same category.

Probably be better if you only kept 3. They haven't made a back to the future movie in 30 years or something. Who cares about more Lord of the Ring films? Harry Potter fans seem to wish it was finished.
I'm a fan of half the series but think the movie industry would be drastically improved with all of them gone forever.

Fast and Furious, Avatar and Jurassic Park are odd ones out there. There's one great movie out of all of them. Fast and Furious is a dumber Marvel and Avatar was a standard story told in brilliant 3D. Jurassic Park was a great movie and 5 bad(ish) sequels.

Well, as superficial as it is, I want to see and take my kid to the Avatar films coming up, she loves it, so I’d definitely lose Fast and Furious. Next would be Back to the Future. Good but not great. Doesn’t need to be seen again. After that it’s a tough call. I’m looking forward to the Lord of the Rings series on Amazon and those films are fantastic, so wouldn’t want to lose them forever. There’s only really been one good Indians Jones movie, so probably that. Shame though because I love raiders. Toss up between that and DC, but that’s saved by the Nolan trilogy, latest Suicide squad, peacemaker, and the potential for more R rated fare.

Harry potter, avatar and Jurassic park. Easy.

Films, no. But there's a new TV series coming out that should be pretty exciting!

Why? JRR Tolkien didn't write it. Its become the most generic fantasy world in existence. Dont see the attraction

One of if the not the biggest budget ever given to a TV show if I'm not mistaken.

Avatar (couldn't care any less about the sequels)
Fast and the Furious (never watched one, never will)
007 (there are some I like but in 60 years they haven't moved on from the same formula of gadgets, explosions and women)

Get out….fool of a took.

I don't think there is a cinema in Belfast that is showing anything other than the latest Jurassic Park film this weekend.

This is another result of marvel ruining cinema. Studios now forcing cinemas to only show their latest fast food film every 15 minutes of the day on every screen in order to boost about how successful they are

Meanwhile people looking for a quality film have no option
