Thank you fellaini for coming on and getting utd a draw
He's done well.
But ...but...tree lump, hoofball, Moyes..Stoke type player etc
In hindsight maybe.Did well. Unpopular opinion but maybe he should have started instead of Carrick.
Said it in Carrick's, Fellani's, Herrera's and Schneiderlin's thread but the way we play football, having an energy guy would better suit us at times than having a Carrick (who's done incredibly well and will get his starts otherwise).
We went direct football straight from the second half because Rooney was no where in midfield. As Neville alluded to, we went too direct when he came on. Useful, but we were just lumping it at times.
Motm for us
Hardly created anything dangerous before him.As Neville alluded to, we went too direct when he came on. Useful, but we were just lumping it at times.
I thought he was good, but thought our approach became a bit panicked.Hardly created anything dangerous before him.
In hindsight maybe.
But I think we needed both energy and passing.
Fair play - his headers created problems. Shame we need a player like that in the first place.
Its called Plan B. Even Liverpool had to sit back and camp in their half at the end.
That's fair enough and I agree it's good to have. Just mean I don't understand how we couldn't put goals past this Liverpool side.
Got a good header in for the goal, can't pass in key areas though, just a desperation type of player that we should never have to resort to.
Why, though? It is better to have a plan B rather than continuing with a failing plan A.
That didn't take long.We are Macnhester United, hoofball should never be the answer IMO.
That didn't take long.
When he won the ball high up and then passed it square to Rooney, wish he had the confidence to just go himself and have a go from 20 yards
