Sorry to spoil this for you but Jose doesn't care what you think.
He cares what 76000 of us think though mate. More so than the thoughts of this forum!

Of course it's wrong to boo your own player. How the feck is that helping anyone? It ruins the morale within the team when they see their own fans booing their own players. You're supposed to support them through thick and thin, even if you don't like them. Complain about them on forums, whatever. If you go to the actual stadium to see them live, it's an embarrassment to boo your own team.If my memory serves me right then Gary Nev has criticised his performances numerous times and described some of his play as terrible and not good enough...during commentary which is televised in every country on Earth!
But a few fans booing and suddenly it's wrong!
I like Mourinho alot more than some of our fans!Mourinho backing Fellaini makes me like Mourinho more.
Sorry to spoil this for you but Jose doesn't care what you think.
You honestly think Mourinho is basing his decisions on who is being booed?I booed.
Why? Because I genuinely thought he was going to be brought on in the 75th minute and he'd cost us the game AGAIN!
I wasn't booing because I don't like him, I was booing to show my thoughts that it was the wrong decision.
I wonder if we didn't boo, would he have been brought on instead of Bailey.
If his post match comments were anything to go off, I think Jose thought you lot booing today were a massive pain in the arse.He cares what 76000 of us think though mate. More so than the thoughts of this forum!

It's almost like some have a fantasy idea stuck of what things were like years ago.Ffs people were being booed during the Fergie years also. Can we stop pretending its a new thing.
You honestly think Mourinho is basing his decisions on who is being booed?
Indeed.
People are going way overboard criticising the match going fans. It's not like they booed Solskjaer or something... it's Fellaini! Who the hell cares?
I booed.

Remember at the beginning of the season when we were starting him as first-choice with Pogba in a midfield two?
I don't particularly like booing but some of the reaction here is wierd.People that booed him are lame as fek. He's UTD player, they should show support.

Why should you show support for a player you don't want at your club?
How should fans show their displeasure, should they always pretend they are fine with every decision?
Dou you guys prefer fans whistle?
Moyes's tenure slightly changed my opinion on the topic. I used to be completely against booing but fans have the right to some sort of protest against things they don't like.
That's far worse imo.Mate bash him on social networks, wait for him in front of training ground or something like that. I want Fellaini out and wish he never came here but booing a player on your home turf whilst trying to wrap the game up isn't helping anyone and it's sending a bad picture.
And we won nearly all those games.Remember at the beginning of the season when we were starting him as first-choice with Pogba in a midfield two?

He's clearly not good enough but he actually played pretty ok at the start of the season.
What's not serious about it?
I booed.

The booing led to Mourinho dedicating the win to Fellaini. Given how stubborn our manager is, it wouldn't surprise me if the substitution was made to prove a point to the idiots who booed Fellaini as he was warming up.
One thing new arrivals to Manchester United always mention is how supportive the fans are. When Martial misses a shot, we sing his name. When De Gea loses a bit of concentration, we try to perk up his confidence again. We chant every time a player makes a mistake so as to show we still have faith in him. Even though the booing was only directed at Fellaini, the act itself will undermine part of what makes United such a family club. It's sad that the Stretford End had to cheer in order to drown out the boos from the daytrippers. That isn't what Old Trafford should be about.

Some of the best midfielder performances? From Fellaini? Bloody hell. And why is that worthy of a green smiley? We were basically winning all those games - it was some of the best midfield performances we've seen this season.

Can you name even one player who didn't show up? Seriously. Not many footballers constantly get vilified by thier own fans for no such reason other than not being good enough to play for the club yet keep showing up to play

Di Maria for one and not once did our fans give him a hard time. Can you name even one player who didn't show up? Seriously.
Di Maria wasn't vilified by the fans, he never wanted to play for us in the first place and went to Paris as soon as it was possible.Di Maria for one and not once did our fans give him a hard time.
I'm talking about the mental toughness of Fellaini. He was jeered in a pre-season and many expected him to leave at that point. Yet he put that behind him and went on to have a decent season, scoring some important goals. Now you name me the players who have gone through a similar scenario and didn't down tools.
As some on here have said, they weren't booing Fellaini himself but the move to bring him on when he has shown to give away clumsy fouls all over the pitch. I really don't get the moral outage over here. You would think someone killed his dog and smeared his shirt with the blood.Do you apply that to everything in life? I've paid for it so I'll boo in the theatre, restaurant etc?
People being adverse to one of our players being booed by thousands is not 'wierd'.
Also, booing a manager who is responsible for end results over a prolonged period is not the same as booing a player for a single mistake. Man the stretching of arguments people in here are trying to do to justify this is pathetic.
Im intrigued which players you lot think we can boo? Rooney? Lingard? Depay? Rojo? Rashford missed a shot lots boo him next huh

As for the restaurant comment, I would talk to the manager and actually have my word be heard. That comparison could not be far further away.
You have a high prick threshold. The part with him being a prick.
Schweinsteiger literally didn't show up from March onwards last season. Sat on his arse and went gallivanting with his bird and watched tennis. Then when the Euros came round, he magically got himself fit.Can you name even one player who didn't show up? Seriously.
There's absolutely no difference between booing the decision and the player, i think he got the point and so did the rest of the players apparently. They now know thats how they'll be treated after a mistake.
And the comparison is fine, you're saying rather than resorting to a public outburst you'd have a direct word. Well if you feel that strongly about your opinion being heard there's plenty of ways you could contact Jose/Fellaini as opposed to petty public embarrassment. Too much effort though and prob not as much fun tho eh?
