Please. Don't be ridiculous.

If that's the reason half our players over the years would have gotten booed over the years.
I have never seen such a shit player get regular games for us. It's unprecedented.

You are going to be bloody kidding right? No one here say that they are less passionate, the fans just need to grow up a little bit here. The boo hasn't changed anything for four seasons and three managers still played him. I think your post is clearly deserved more for a boo.
Then feel free to boo the post. That's your opinion.

So being 'such a shit player who gets regular games for us' equals being 'massive cnut'? That's funny, if that was the case though over the last couple of years 90% of the team would get booed.

I love how people try to put some reason and justification behind the booing.

That didn't come out right. I didn't mean he did it intentionally. But yea the fans haven't been happy with his performances. So a little booing. I don't mind it. He wasn't booed at every touch of the ball or anything. And i don't think he will be booed the next game either.

His performances have not been boo worthy this season at all. The one mistake has sent his reputation back to that awful point he last got booed.

Other players in bad form and those costing us points haven't been booed so lets not dress this up as reactionary. Its pure and simple petty dislike

So now it's because he's shit and not because he's a cnut? make your mind up.

Regardless, him being shit is not his fault. He was also one of the main reason we won our last trophy. Fans really have ridiculously short memories.

Well Marcus didn't come on and literally drop points. I feel like the fans have been frustrated with him all season, and it reached a boiling point that day, same thing on the caf. He gets criticized but he really, really pissed people off with that foul.

Except, he did. It was really Lazy from him and it cost us the game. The only difference is that hes from Manchester and therefore is immune from criticism.

Do you think it's arbitrary why so many people hate Fellaini, and it could equally be any player?

No, people hate Fellaini because he is shit, makes no effort, is stupid, clumsy, needlessly violent, looks ridiculous and is a cnut. It's the full package. There's no one else like him.

It doesn't sit right with me. We shouldn't boo our own players.

You're like an 8 year old with some kind of a hate problem at primary school who argues that 'Mike is a stupid cnut' because he is a 'stupid cnut'. The second bolded and why I bolded it, I leave it a riddle to you.

A cnut is basically you. Fellaini was just being a shit like other players Schneiderlin, Memphis and Darmian. It's different with being a cnut.

If it was only me who hates him, you'd have a point.

You tell me then, why do so many of our fans hate poor old Fellaini? Why do we hate him so much to the point of booing him?

Your post was ridiculous. And ironically I wasn't the only one who bold marked your post so it wasn't just 'my opinion'.
Dude feel free to say what you want. My point was referring to comments saying that fans that boo are not proper fans and that raining abuse on them was appropriate, to which I disagreed with. It's not like I said booing was the best thing to do anyway, but every fan is entitled to express how they feel however they feel like or whenever they feel like.

Because your cnuts.

A reasonable reaction is to boo at the incident or critque his performance. I've judged plenty of players to not be good enough or ive disliked them, i dont need them to know because that's just being a prick.

Because he was signed under Moyes, was atrocious that season, just like the whole season, he was the only buy when we've had some obvious weaknesses we didn't address, and people still remember that. Then it's quite easy to boo him when he does something thick like he did last week while they wouldn't boo anybody else. Some people still like to claim that our shite form this season is the effect of Moyes' reign in the first season after Fergie's retirement, absurd as it is.

I love Mata, who was also signed under Moyes. I don't think that's the reason. I think it's Fellaini.

But thanks for reminding me of Moyes...

Find the booing pathetic and embarrassing.

I'd like to think we are better than that but evidently not. At least most fans applauded to try and drown it out... only disappointment for me from today's match besides the injury to Mkhi.

But what exactly does 'it's Fellaini' mean? Did he call you a cnut in the street? Did he call out our fans on anything? Ever done some stupid interview where he'd slate the manager, the players of our club, anything? Ever handed in transfer request to get better wages like some of OT's finest did yet warranted a single boo?

I mean even if the only factor that you take into consideration for booing is somebody being shite, not good enough for the club, then there's plenty of players over the years who should have been booed, who have been worse players than Fellaini (yes, there have been) and never been booed. For me it's just irrational, just like booing Nani was. Petulant behaviour by some and nothing more really. It's funny that most of the game the stadium's silent as shit only for some to wake up to boo Fellaini. Makes them look like proper tools.

As per usual, an analogy if you will, it's easy to bully the weak ones.

I've already tried to explain why so many people hate him. I think it's because he's uniquely awful. Everything about him. He looks ridiculous and you can only get away with looking - and acting - so stupid if you're a good player. He's awful. And he's frequently violent and clumsy. And he often makes the team play unattractive football by his mere presence. And he literally doesn't even try half the time.

I think it's the unique combination of awfulness that pisses people off.

Fellaini was just being a shit like other players Schneiderlin, Memphis and Darmian.

He isn't really though. He's a lot shitter than them, inherently. Occasionally he can play better than them, but at his very core, his very essence of being is of one significantly shitter.

People don't like him because he represents not just shitness, but a particular type of plodding, lumpen shitness that should never have been anywhere near a club like Man Utd. Schneiderlin, Memphis and Darmian are merely not good enough versions of the kind of players we want. Fellaini is a not good enough version of the kind of player we don't. It may be a little unfair to boo him, but it's disingenuous to pretend he doesn't occupy a very singlur status amongst United fans. He's a totem for shitness. The bad kind of shitness.

So it is irrational really, imagine people booing Lingard because he dabs and dabbing is for idiots, or booing Pogba because of his stupid hairdo. Violent, sure, more often than not you'll see crowd cheering when somebody other from our team plays it rough, pretty much nobody would mind an elbow on one of Spurs' players I can bet. The unattractive football is always questionable for me and the last one, you know it, is bullshit. When he was playing he was, alongside Mata, the man to cover the most ground for us, he was generally speaking top of ground covered in the league up until then, when we were the least running team in the league. Hardly 'not trying' half the time.

So yeah, if you think that booing him is fine because you simply don't like him, just say it instead of trying to make some ridiculous reasoning behind it in 'stupid hair' ilk, it's just silly.

Fellaini's the worst player I've seen at this club but booing is harsh. It's a just an unpleasant thing to put one of your own through even if you think he should've nothing to do with Manchester United.

Of course it's because I don't like him. I was trying to explain why I don't like him, because you asked.

Im in two minds here.....

1. Booing your own players because of their quality is disgusting.
2. While its disgusting its the only was the fans can express their disappointment with the player/manager decision to play him.

Saying that, i still dont approve booing but whats the other option, i cant see one TBH.

Jose putting him on as a show of power towards the fans? That ain't the battle to pick Jose. I knew lots would be complaining about the booing, I personally wouldn't do it but I just don't care, I loathe Fellaini and those fans paid hard eraned money, up to them.

There's nothing "disgusting" about booing a football player. Stop being so soft.

Booing a player after a poor performance or after pulling off an Icardi/Rooney2010 is acceptable, but booing our own player for a mistake he made a week ago isn't!
Half the hatred he gets from our fans is because he was our only Summer signing in the Moyes window. He isn't half as bad a player as people make out him to be. That being said, I do agree that he provides nothing that others don't, which although wasn't the case till last season.
He has performed well in crucial parts of last 2 seasons- the 6 game run in LVG's 1st season and in the FA Cup QFs and Semis last season and doesn't deserve the treatment he gets from our fans

Felt it was counter productive booing a player who would have been low on confidence after last week, coming on and receiving that from his own fans. Especially at a critical time of the game (stoppage time).

I didnt want to see him come on either, but I dont see the purpose behind it or what could have been achieved positively from it. Jose will use him if he trusts him to follow instructions.

I understand that the crowd is right to do as they please but just because they've paid for their tickets doesn't mean that they are exempt from judgement for their behaviour.
"yeah they acted like cnuts but they paid money to be there so whatever"... I really don't get that mindset.

That is probably the worst post I've ever seen here on the caf.

Jose said post match that the victory was dedicated to Fellaini

Personally, it was uncomfortable to hear a single player being targeted like that.

If it contributes in him handling a transfer request its a win win situation. He'll get rid of our 'cruel' fans and ends up playing to his level. We get rid of player who shouldn't be at United in the first place
