That bushy haired bastard should be nowhere near that team. He is a liability and offers so little football wise. All he's good at is elbowing and fouling.

I actually hate this man. This is his 4th season with us. That is disgusting. No other top side would sign him, let alone have him stink the place out for 4 years.

I'd never do it, but I do think he'll get booed if he plays at Old Trafford again. I wouldn't do it, but I wouldn't care if he did.

That clown should never be allowed Put on a United Jersey again. He is a liability of the highest order. Can't believe Mhki was taken off for him ( even with a tight hamstring ,standing up the other end of the pitch doing nothing he would be better)

I even said to myself when he came on, i bet he will give away a clumsy free kick in a dangerous position.

fecking fuming right now.

What is Fellaini's best position?

Does anyone actually know, he's awful as a defensive midfielder, average as an attacking footballer, what on earth is his actual best role?

How can a player who nobody can define his position, play for Manchester United.

If you are searching for a goal in the last ten minutes throw him up front. But like osman said, dont have him anywhere near your own box.

I will probably be the odd one out but I feel bad for Fellaini. It was a poor challenge but to throw him on when we already know he is clumsy was a complete joke of a decision by Mourniho.
I thought it was a harsh penalty. It was a foul, yes but look at all the penalties we didn't get awarded this season. No surprise the referee would give this one

Fellaini is clumsy, there's no doubt about it. But to say he's a shit footballer/cnut/waste of space/whatever is out of order in my opinion. He has his strengths like every other player and Mourinho made a bad decision today to try and defend that 1-0 lead by putting him on.

Worst United footballer ever? Give me a break. He's put in a dozen of good performances for us over the years in big matches. Scored some vital goals in the FA Cup last season which we ended up winning. Like it or not, he has contributed. And he's still useful when the tactics suit. Today's tactics did NOT suit. You have to blame Mourinho for this. He got it wrong today.

Turning against a United player.. disgraceful. He wears the crest that should be valued above everything..

Osman then rubbing it by saying he expected it and Everton would never have him near their own box, damn.

It's strange that an Everton player knows this, yet 3 MUFC managers, as yet have not worked this one out.

Don't bring him on when defending a lead or a draw.

Bring him on when a team like Stoke or West Ham are sitting back and parking the bus. He can break down teams like that. He's also been good in the 'big' games in fairness. Usually puts in a good shift and brings a bit of aggression to the midfield. He's played well against Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal in the past.

Putting him on in those games is a wise decision.... Today was not a wise decision. If you want to calm the game down and see it out, you need to be bringing Schweinsteiger on.

It's really not hard to understand when you have players of his level coming on to win us the game. Jose takes most of the blame, but what an idiot he is. The fact he was smiling at the end pissed me off even more.

Will never understand how he survived this long

You'd hope a professional footballer would know not to be clumsy in his own box though...

I think he does know, its just his limbs don't move at the speed his brain wants them to and therefore he makes clumsy mistakes.

I agree. People get carried away. I don't think Fellaini is good enough for United but he certainly isn't the worst player we've had. It's like when Smalling got the red card against City a couple of seasons ago. Everyone went way over the top, slated him and never wanted him to play for United again. I backed him and the next season he went on to be one of our best players. I'm not saying Fellaini will go on to be one of our best players, he most certainly won't, but the abuse he is getting is out of order, everyone makes mistakes and Jose should be taking much of the blame here as he is repeatedly making the wrong decisions rather than a clumsy one off error like Fellaini's today.

As long as players like him are in our squad, we'll never be at the level we want to be. Simple as that.

Fellaini and defending is like oil and water. They just do not go together. He should've been sold last summer, but if we don't finally finish the job this summer then i don't know what to say.

Don't agree with that at all, he never seems to contribute to any late goal push.

I like him and have backed him quite a bit. He was one of our better players early this season too.

But he shouldn't see any significant action for a while after today. Besides the penalty he was shite and a liability. BFS now has a lifeline.

Fellaini is ideally the perfect player to bring on to defend a lead or to get a goal back. However, reality clearly points to him being a detriment to both situations.

It's time to end that delusion.

He has won us plenty of points and if used correctly can be a very usefull player to have. He isn't a wordlclass midfielder by any means but there are are far worse players in the squad than Fellaini.

One thing that he has always had tough is that he is prone to making stupid faults. His defending on Gana today was a textbook example of that.

I agree with this sentiment, altough I believe BFS is not going to solve any of our problems.

Leon Osman on Fellaini: "He's always been clumsy like that. When he played for us we wanted him as far away from our box as possible."

You know you're shit when fecking Leon Osman can stick the boot in. Makes Jose's decision all the more moronic.

edit: oops, already posted I guess.

It's strange that an Everton player knows this, yet 3 MUFC managers, as yet have not worked this one out.

It's massively frustrating.

You want him up top with his back to goal. It's the only way to get the best out of him and in fact he is a threat when played that way.

Obvious disclaimer: He should be doing this at some other club.

I may forgive Moyes for the damage he caused to United if he took him to Sunderland.

Fellaini is fecking shite. I'm not sure what was a more insane display of his shiteness, his utter fecking brainfart of a penalty-giveaway or when he chested the ball down inside their box and smacked it out of play for an Everton throw in to the bemusement of Rashford.
But as per usual some in here just consider him as misunderstood.
Ticks are also misunderstood, they probably serve a purpose in nature that we just don't seem to understand yet.

Turning against a United player.. disgraceful. He wears the crest that should be valued above everything..

Absolute nonsense. He's a disgrace to the crest and hands down the worst player in the clubs history to reach his 100th appearance.
Complete garbage.

100th appearance and hopefully his last! What was he thinking?! I was more worried when Rashford came on because of what happened against Arsenal but it was Fellaini who managed to cost us the game. I was thinking earlier how many good games he's actually had or made an impact in, probably only a couple if that. It's time to get rid of him, even Osman half coated him off on tv and he played with him. How he is ahead of Schweinsteiger and even Schneiderlin in the pecking order is beyond me because at least they'd be able to come on and actually do their job of seeing a game out.

As long as players like him are in our squad, we'll never be at the level we want to be. Simple as that.
Such a simple point but undeniably true

Today could be another step towards him leaving

Simply not a Manchester United footballer

If Mourinho even feels half as angry as Gary Neville is, then this dude will be carrying Schweinsteiger's luggage to LA.

I'm not going to bother looking up stats etc, but he must be the worst player to have 100+ appearances for us surely? He is woeful.
