I don't even know where to start

Actually I know exactly where. No one has once told he is Bobby Charlton.

Watching the game I felt he was the only one actually winning the ball in midfield. Even top CMs would find it difficult to handle one of KdB silva and nolito so it's not shocking that he was finding it difficult to handle them all at the same time. You play a prime makalele in his place and even he would have struggled simply because you can't be in 5 places at the same time.
no Makelele would have destroyed them. He was a great player.

I think he was let down by Jose & Pogba. Still he didn't hide, was one of our better players out there.

I just don't see a midfield with him in bossing any half decent opposition midfield. Good players like Carrick and Pogba can look average when paired with him.

Yes, it was Fellaini's fault that Pogba went missing throughout the game. Ridiculous.

He was one of our better players + he didn't hide and shit himself out there like a few did during that 1st half.

Everything is Fellainis fault ffs. He IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Play them and we will win the league
If Fellaini is fecked off that is
Rashford Zlatan Martial
Wow. No lets have fecking useless twats in our team. He is probably better than Robson,Keane,Whiteside,Moses,Macari,Crerand,Ince,Carrick,Scholes aso. In your world that is
I won't read through cause everyone in here seems to think he is fecking Bobby Charlton. He is the least talented centremid I have ever watched being played as a fecking first choice in that position. He is worse than Liam fecking Miller. We WILL never WIN anything with him the fecking shite. He is good as a false 9 but good Lord in centre mid?????? He is a fecking waste of space. And MkHitaryan, Lingard,Blind was useless too but everyone can have an offgame. I would give my rightarm to get that fecking elbowing cnut out of the club I love. Sign Gerrard and it wouldnt piss me off more

Do you want us to call an ambulance?

I thought he looked completely out of his depth in the first half. Not the only one. The lack of protection for the defence was astonishing. As if we didn't know beforehand that Silva and De Bruyne would be a threat.

His lack of mobility is a big problem for us against decent opponents.

How was that a yellow?

Was at the stadium and it looked a ridiculous freekick to give but when the yellow was branded, I thought, ok maybe he threw an arm into the face or something.
Just watched a replay, the decision is even worse than I thought

Yeah do that if I'm living in a world that consider Fellaini as good as our previous midfielders. He is fecking crap

Try and keep it together eh.
He could hardly be deemed a negative so far this season even if he's not your favourite player.

You're living in a world full of delusion because nobody's claiming he's as good as the midfielders we've had years ago. If you can't let it go that we don't have them in our team anymore then I do feel for you.

He is slow, he has the technique of a donkey and he is a dirty twat with his elbowing. Lets play him in centre midfield

And yet he's been our best midfielder this season, in big parts last season too. Go figure really. You're showing your irrational hate and nothing besides that at the moment. With a claim like 'play Rashford Zlatan and Martial without Fellaini and we'll win everything' you're just making yourself sound silly.

Plus I mean really, you've picked a pretty weird period to have a go at him.

No. I didnt like him when we signed him and you seriousley think he is good enough in centre mid?

Him and Europa League

Best midfielder. Right another poor season then. Atleast when I was growing up it was entertaining with shite centre mids such as mcillroy robson whiteside moses wilkins aso. If only the great fellaini had been around

The first part is fair enough, now for the question, I don't know what 'good enough' is. Good enough for us at the moment? Good enough if we want to win CL, EPL, triple crown, whatever? No idea. You're as good as you play I guess, all I know at the moment that he pretty much is our player and it's not going to change until atleast January (and I doubt he'll be sold then anyway) and he's been our most consistent player. I also do know that he's pretty much one of very few players we have at the moment who trully can be branded as United quality as far as his mentality and character is concerned.

Before you jump with your 'elbows' and all that funny stuff, please do remember that this guy was booed by his own fan, not once did he throw his shit out of the pram but he's done all he could under LVG and Mourinho to prove his worth and it takes a real man not to crack under such pressure and turn it around 180. Sometimes you have players with far superior techique and ability compared to him who simply fail to cut it here due to their fragile mentality, character, you call it. Look at ADM. Sure, just character or right mentality won't take you everywhere but I do believe that there is a place in our team and probably as the time goes in squad for him due to that mentality alone. He's not a hinderance in our squad, don't think he ever was ever since that disastrous Moyes season.

And no, I don't think that defining our upcoming season as 'poor' just purely because Fellaini is playing well is fair. It's pretty silly, again.

Fair enough. Just think he shouldnt be anywhere near a manchester united midfield but of course respect different opinions. We all want united to win

Aye, not liking him is understandable to some extent I guess but I just can't really grasp the concept of him being in the very centre of everything bad that happens to us just like the Earth is in the centre of universe or something.

I just dont want him in centre mid. He has been surprisingly good this year but I want better than him there and Herrera is better

He is just not good enough to start for Man United, imo. He can be a decent squad player that has his uses, but as a starter? We should be better than that.

I don't get how some people can criticize Fellaini for today's game. He was one of the only players who played this game like it was a derby. One of the very few players today who Mourinho would say carried out their instructions well.

I think he's the Phil Jones of midfielders. He throws himself into tackles and everyone thinks it's great but the reality is that his positioning costs us time and time again.

Good teams will pass through our midfield with relative ease and he's a massive part of why that happens.

Fellaini gets abuse for simply following managers's instructions though. He did well against decent teams. Well, wait till we meet good teams. He did as much as he could against 3 + 1 attacking line of city trying to cover the whole midfield, he is useless.

Jose going LVG's style with him being up there to receive hoofing balls, well we don't want him coz it is because of him we played that way, otherwise we would be playing like pep's barca team.

Agree.

Fellaini was let down by Pogba today, who got suckered into the occasion, instead of playing the game. His positioning was atrocious for the 1st 20 minutes and its partly that lack of discipline that gave City so much space from which to pass and move. Add to that the disappearing act of our two widemen and suddenly Felliani is effectively in midfield on his own vs 4 City players.

Im not advocating that he start every game, or is even a 1st XI player, but he is a brilliant squad option for specific situations and today was one of those games. He had a poor game because his colleagues went missing and he could not do compensate for that.

Wtf is wrong with you? In this entire thread you come off as an autistic kid that got no idea what's going on in his brain and is just losing it. Calm down or something

Plus one

look now, 3 managers have played him pretty much in their first eleven. He obviously is the second coming of Bobby Charlton.
