People really need to check their Fellaini exuberance.
He had a good game but he's still nowhere near good enough. Let's not forget O'Shea and Alan Smith used to have the occasional blinder playing in midfield as well.
As I said in Bailly's thread , the evaluation of players here is too reactionary and completely based on the last game only, either in praise or hammering. One good performance is enough to the raise player to the Moon and vice versa.
He had a got game but he's nowhere near the success here. The number of games he made us frustrated is more than those in which we praised him . Him present as a plan b when things don't go right is horrible for any top 4 club. I'm still not confident of him at all as a DMF setting in front of defense .
I won't mind him as a back-up option for some purposes but definitely not a plan b option used when we're losing. Jose used him well in last game and if he keeps using him that way I'll have no problem with him being on the bench. Just don't start playing long balls to him for the sack of it as it's annoying and extinct football.
