Marcus Rashford (out)

Barca seem like the only possibility in Europe now, unless theres a compromise on wages.
I can see him being effective for them.

Trying to get Fermin in return and even a punt on Ansu if its reasonable would be worth exploring.

Yeah but, as I said, that's not really a negotiation when you are dealing with a Man Utd that's handing out money like confetti.

All of a sudden he's dealing with guys who don't necessarily want Marcus as the centre of their project. Clubs who need to be persuaded to pay a wage he thinks he's worth and a transfer fee to United for the privilege of having him on the payroll.

It's a very different task. In my opinion, if Rashford's camp was serious about a move there should have gone to professionals to sort it. Rashford's bro hasn't got the experience to deliver on this.
That's not really true, his contract negotiations went on for months, United were desperate by the end to not let him ebter his last year unsigned

I will never understand why players employ their family as agents. Get a fecking professional. How many clients does Dwayne Maynard have, has he ever facilitated a transfer?

To be fair his brother is doing a good job. He's settled for life doing less than the minimum effort of being a pro athlete.

And as much as we hate it his PR works, he got years of leeway not many players get

Maybe he's lazy deep inside and only in it for the money, which is already guaranteed

They’ve only just got a court to overturn registration rules in la Liga so they could register Olmo?

Also, would he get in their first XI?

You can see him being effective there? I want what you're smoking
Yes, to a certain extent.
I think the league is less intense and maybe the weather would help any back issues he has.

Also Id guess Yamal takes a lot of the focus on the right which would free Rashford to do what he does best - clear run at goal and score.

Some kind of swap with homegrown money on the books might suit both clubs.
Fermin also looks elite.

I feel sorry for Rashford. No trolling, no snide.

He employs his brother as an agent. Has his brother ever negotiated a transfer before? Wherever you think about the likes of Kia Joorabchian, they know their way around.

I imagine it's very different trying to do deals with a Man Utd that's willing to bend over to accommodate you, than trying to negotiate how and in what way a transfer of the nature Marcus wants can be realised.

Nothing about the way his exit has been handled so far makes you confident about him actually getting a move away. This is not a Jorge Mendes deal that's for sure.
You feel “sorry” for Rashford for willingly employing…his (probably not as qualified/unqualified) brother as his agent? Yeah, now that’s a first.

Has ansu fati’s fitness improved at all? He couldn’t even survive at Brighton. Maybe a good old blast from the past in a FDJ swap deal would suffice

Yes…. but why would a player go there if he’s not sure he can play? (like Olmo has found out)?
This is the Rashford thread?
I dont think he’s assessing his future very well.

I personally think he has some conditioning issues, back related? Which means he cant go hard. He’s happy to get as close to his retirement whilst picking up a significant salary.

Barcelona would aid that.
A less intense league, warmer weather, still prestigious. Likely good money.
If he cant play for a few months, he still gets alittle closer to retirement.

This is just idle speculation.

Who knows, but he’s like a clone of Amad.
Ansu on the Left, Amad to the right… Gyokers in the middle.

Like a rotting fish, I just don’t see any buyers for Marcus Rashford.
He's grossly overestimated his worth and his people around him are deluded. The shame is if he had applied himself like a young Ronaldo and developed his game he could have been a world class player.

I really do believe that. But what I also believe is that he should have undergone back surgery rather than play in the Euros.
