Sadly I don't see progress or someone who learns from his mistakes, I know he's very young and raw but I lost the sense that he is a superstar in the making.

Jesus! He's a young, inconsistent player who has been run into the ground for the past two years by being played constantly. Did his back in last year through being played too often and is still playing nonstop. He could do with some time on the bench.

Too interested in making a difference outside football.

I'm being serious here. The amount of stick Lingard got for his personal brand, this is the same thing. Doesn't matter if it's selfless or selfish, it takes focus away from football.

Beyond tired of his wasteful flick-ons and passes in and around the box. For every 1 good 1 he has he has about 40-50 that end up killing the attack

Decent first half on the right, dropped off and was hacked a fair bit once he moved to the left. We need to speed our game up if we wish to get the best out of him, having a defender run with the ball for 40 yards and allowing defenders to get into a solid position simply isn’t playin to his strengths. Feck we really need someone who can ping the ball around in midfield, a Scholes type midfielder would improve our attack no end.

Slating Lingard for his off the pitch stuff just like criticizing Rashford for the charity work, is beyond stupid. It would only make sense if you could defo prove the correlation between the 2 but no one can. This is the Rashford we'll always known

Not seeing much improvement in his play. Ole seems to have stopped working on him.

I rather him focus on feeding poor kids.

I think some of the criticism of him today is harsh. I get criticisms for workrate and being afforded an undeserved 'luxury player' status and I completely agree with that. But in terms of making things happen against a low block team (who are making no attempt to play any football and are obviously improving defensively under the - i personally find repulsive - style of Allardyce, it needed someone to create a moment of magic today and he was trying that.

Decisive moments though, Greenwood performed a minor miracle late on to find Rashford in the box before continuing his run into space in the box. What did Rashford do? A couple of feints try and get the shot away. He is too one track minded at times and it gets predictable. He spots good passes, sometimes even exceptional passes. Do it more ffs.

8 goals in 24 games isn't good enough for a main frontman if we want to win the league (we won't now). We need to buy a proper striker next transfer window.

I can't really say that Marcus's performances have been particularly great this season and currently he just seems to be making the wrong decisions each time. Not really sure what's happened but there does seem to be a change in his game. He has become incredibly tunnel visioned and seems to only think about scoring for himself, but for whatever reason he wants to dummy it two or three times before doing anything and often ends up losing the ball. It's amazing that Rashford has amassed such an impressive goal and assists tally considering I don't think he has been anywhere near his best this season, if he was able to improve on his decision making he'd have a truck load more.

He's just not a team player. He's shown little intention in linking up play. It's all on what he can achieve individually and Ole seems to over indulge him on that.

I actually don't see his off field activities impacting his on field performances at all he always has been inconsistent player with decent output nothing more ,but his charity work has definitely benefitted from his profile as United player which could very well suffer if he suddenly stops playing and just focuses on that but that's just my opinion.

Still holds onto the ball too long at times but was our most dangerous attacker before Mason came on.

It baffles me how Ole managed to control Pogba's ego but let Rashford's grow that big while doing nothing for it. He now walks on the pitch as if he's Cristiano Ronaldo, barely tracks back or defends, tries to dribble past every possible player, unsubbable and undroppable. His ego is hurting the team. Someone needs to interfere and brings him back to the ground.

I miss the Rashford from his first 1.5 seasons when he was all energy and work rate.

He’s not the main striker, I can only think of two or three games where he has been played as such.
He has 14 goal contributions (scored or assisted) in 24 games, that’s a good return from a left winger/inverted winger.

We'll not win owt the way this mon and Martial Mellow are shaping!

He had something to fight for. He needed to prove to everyone that he could establish himself as a first team regular. But he's safe now. Ole has overindulged him and he's got 0 competition for a role in the team.

His decision making today was so frustrating. We're moving the ball well and he decides to shoot with about five men in front of him when one will obviously block it

Utterly brain-dead footballer.

Genuinely as thick as pig shit.
That’s totally unfair and a bit of a shit thing to say.

He needs to get his head back in the game or find a way to deal with both of his commitments in life and one of those show he’s far from thick.

On the right side he does nothing. It’s not his position so you can understand him not providing any service. But when he shifted over to the left, he offered nothing as well, in fact I’d say he was worse on that wing today. He ran into 2/3 defenders every time rather than releasing the ball. He doesn’t shoot anymore either, and does this unnecessary dummy after dummy. Just release the ball first time once in a while.

I think he’s burnt out to be honest. Him and Martial need a rest but they can’t because of the amount of games. There should have been more rotation over the season and I think we are now suffering.

How is it unfair?

Are you saying his on field decision making is on point?

You can almost guarantee at one stage in every game he will try take on a wall of defenders and expect to get past each one of them.

He's a West Ham level striker let's be honest.. he's not good enough for Manchester United.

I do think he needs to focus more on his football and less on challenging the government/getting political.. leave that to Labour and the politicians, son

Of course not but to say the guy is thick is bollocks, I don’t know why people like you post shit like that.
Probably because there's an element of truth to it.

What's with his obsession of trying to beat half of the opposition team every time he gets the ball? He either has terrible decision making, or he's incredibly selfish. Neither trait is attractive.

Football is a simple game made complicated by players like Rashford.

How does he get away with these absolute dog shít performances so often? He seems untouchable. He's so often our worst player on the pitch.

Because he wasn't the worst. Martial was worse yet again and the CB's were horrendous.

He wasn't good though. Not at all. He's really fell off a cliff form wise.

Genuinely don't see IT with him. I don't see a world class player in the making and haven't for a while, he's making the same mistakes game after game.

Ole said nearly two years ago that he wants Martial and Rashford to score the 'scruffy' goals and they're working on their movement in and around the box
Yet they still stand in the same positions and make the same runs as back then.

This is why we need Grealish and Sancho, rotating the attacking positions and for them to battle it out who gets the starting positions. Martial and Rashford are getting free reign at two important positions, which we can't afford.
