Such a great player to watch, those skills, passes to Shaw and dribbles
Huh? Surely he's granted the assist for Greenwoods 1st?That was the best he's looked for ages. Although he didn't end up getting the final product with a goal or assist, his overall attacking play was significantly better. Particularly for the 25 minutes after halftime where he looked back to the form he was showing during that period last season he was ripping teams apart.
you can tell when he's had a week off and is a little less injured
Yeah, I forgot about it when I first made that post. You got in while I was editing it.Huh? Surely he's granted the assist for Greenwoods 1st?
Good today, you can tell when he's had a week off and is a little less injured
Like last week against Spurs though you can see the injury caught up with him at the end
He was a lot better today. You can still see him wincing after challenges and overthinking and overplaying certain moves. Some lovely ball on the overlap for Shaw and he tracked back. It’s looking like it’s not a rest issue as much as a getting to the bottom of his injuries for once and for all. When will he get the time though?
Our academy often gets criticised in recent years. We had FIVE academy graduates starting today.Imagine an academy producing him AND Greenwood in such a relatively short span of time together.
I've never understood how this is physically possible but it's a beaut. He's rinsed a few players with this over the years. Should bust it out more oftenAre you not entertained?!?
He looks so much more refreshed that it's worrying 1) he has this injury and 2) it's just poor management from himself and Ole that it's got to this stage where we've been overplaying him like feck.
The same goes to Bruno too.
Good game today, not back to his best (circa last year pre lockdown) but should have had a few more clear shots at goal. Just smack the ball lad.
Our own Ronaldinho.I've never understood how this is physically possible but it's a beaut. He's rinsed a few players with this over the years. Should bust it out more often

Ha, the favourite caf trend of players being injured/tired when they are bad and recovered when they perform. He played better today than he has done of late, although he still continues to frustrate.
Longer term, I have no real concerns here though, I’m sure he is still putting his game together. But while he is doing so, he will continue to frustrate and make strange decisions.
It's not a trend is blatantly obvious to anyone with eyes
People were saying he needed a break after a two week international break even. It never stops. The eyes see what they want.

Good game by him. Needs to play on the left though. His understanding with Shaw is excellent. Needs to take a shot sooner though. A lot of times he is in a great position and he tries to get into the perfect situation to shoot and the chance is gone.
