Can the club not keep him out of first team training and away from games? Surely that is an option. If I was the manager I wouldn't want anyone near the squad who I wanted out.

I think in part there is a little bit of plausible deniability at play there from Amorim. As long as he's still allowed to train then the manager can say that he's left the door open for Rashford to improve his levels.

Thought Rashford was pretty much identical to his united form today. Ran into defenders and lost the ball. 2-3 times. Didn't have a single shot and made about 3 passes.

He did win his first aerial duel in about 3 seasons tbf.
